On November 13, The Real Housewives of Orange County star, filed for “attorney substitution” papers with Orange County Superior Court — according to legal documents . The paperwork was added as part of Kelly and Michael’s divorce case from 2012, which was put on hold in 2014.

A “substitution of attorney” is a legal document that may be created during a lawsuit if a party wishes to replace its attorney with another one. Both attorneys must sign the document (which is otherwise void)

On September 27, the 44-year-old announced plans to file for divorce from Michael after eleven years of marriage. The couple shares a daughter, Jolie, 11.
