Growing Up Hip Hop star Briana Latrise hit rock bottom after dealing with drug addiction, drunk driving, and domestic abuse.
The daughter of Kendu Isaacs (estranged husband and manager of Mary J. Blige), Briana grew up in the industry but her life was no catwalk. She’s had some very public struggles, including battles with drugs, alcohol and being homeless. Briana has also called out her parents for lack of support when she was pregnant and homeless a few years ago.
On last week’s episode of Growing Up Hip Hop, Briana accompanied her co-star, Boogie, to an AA meeting but her concern for her friend leads to her own breakdown.
A tearful Briana revealed that she, ‘did a bunch of drugs for a long time’ to deal with pain and ‘lost her whole f*cking childhood,’ as a result but declined to disclose her drug(s) of choice — leaving viewers wondering.
After the episode aired, Briana spilled tea about the various hardcore drugs she used and AllAboutTheTea.com has exclusive video of it.
Years later, the 31-year-old has seemingly turned her life around by getting sober and focusing on work.
