Kathryn Dennis sends Thomas Ravenel a seemingly heartfelt letter in tonight’s episode of Southern Charm — apologizing for “the way things ended” between the high-drama ex-lovers. A sneak peek of the episode gives viewers a peek into the the couple’s reality, after a custody battle shut down communication for several months.
Thomas reads aloud Kathryn’s thoughts — the troubled reality star writing that she’s “truly regretful of the way things ended with us, leaving our children with only their father or their mother, and never both together. For that, I am truly and sincerely sorry to them, but also to you.”
Meanwhile, Kathryn shares her feelings with co-star Chelsea Meissner — revealing that she mostly misses making Thomas feel “loved,” despite his own deep-rooted insecurities.
“He has a hard time accepting love from people because at the heart of it, he doesn’t feel worthy,” Kathryn says, before claiming that Thomas’ father is behind his son’s secret self-doubt.
“If I were to see him, I would just want to give him a big hug and say that I’m sorry and that I love him,” she adds.
Fans know that Kathryn’s filmed remarks didn’t do the trick, and that the couple remains split — still embroiled in the messy custody war.
