The dramatic scene reveals — Kathryn telling Cameran a blown out of proportion story about a weekend trip where Landon accompanied Thomas to a friend’s plantation in Savannah. The weekend happens to fall on Valentine’s Day. Kathryn was supposed to go on the trip, but she and Thomas had broken up — and were not a couple at the time.

A source tells AllAboutTheTea.com that Thomas comes from “another era,” and believed it to be inappropriate to attend the group event without a plus-one.
“Thomas asked Landon, because he knew that she would know people there,” the insider spilled. “There was a group of about 12 people involved in the trip, and Landon and Thomas did not stay in the same room.”

Kathryn was later made aware that the getaway was an innocent one. “Kathryn was filled in by someone who was on the trip, and had no dog in any fight,” a source tells AllAboutTheTea.com.
“Kathryn did not even know that Thomas and Landon had gone on the trip until she was told to her face by a person who was there,” reports the source. “She was also told that Thomas and Landon did not share a room and it was a group thing — not romantic — and not a big deal.”
Fans have seen Kathryn fume over Thomas handing a handkerchief to Jennifer Snowden, in an emotional moment during her terrifying pregnancy. Kathryn harped on the innocent gesture months later — ranting past Jennifer’s traumatic pregnancy, and life threatening episode with her newborn.

“This weekend happened ages ago, during Season 2,” revealed the insider. “Kathryn is reviving ancient history.”
