Some people can’t leave a good thing alone!

Former controversial Real Housewives of Orange County star, Heather Dubrow, announced that she would not be returning to the Bravo reality series in lengthy statement.

“After a lot of careful thought and deliberation, I have decided not to return to RHOC this season. These past 5 years have been an incredible journey and I’m so proud to have been a part of such an iconic piece of pop culture,” Dubrow said.

“I am so grateful to Evolution Media, Bravo and the whole NBCU family for all of the incredible experiences and the opportunities RHOC has afforded me and my family,” she continued. “However, at this point in my life, I have decided to go in another direction and do what’s best for my family and career. Should I change my mind, I thank Andy Cohen, Evolution and Bravo for telling me that the door is always open.”

And although Dubrow may be done with the drama on the RHOC — she’s not done with reality television.

According to a network insider, Heather wants to her own reality show centered around her family.

Heather is working on a solo project and it is most likely going to be with E! network, which, along with Bravo, is part of the NBCUniversal family,” a source told Radar Online.

“She is being super hush-hush about this and not even her close friends, or her former cast mates, know what it is,” the insider said. “But it will most likely focus just on her and her family not the other RHOC girls.”

Dubrow along with her husband Dr. Terry Dubrow and their four kids joined the series in season seven and have showed the ups and downs of their family lives, including her husband’s busy career, the craziness of raising four kids and the construction of Chateau Dubrow.
