It’s back to the fashionista biz for Melissa Gorga.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star is crowing about her upcoming return to the retail world, after a “temporary closing” of the Montclair boutique, Envy.
The store hit the Bravo big-time, but according to Melissa’s former business partner, Jackie Beard Robinson, Melissa was inexperienced, and didn’t hold up her end of the deal. Jackie stripped the store bare, and had a fire sale last week, at the shop of Melissa’s competitor, Kim DePaola. Posche marked the spot where Envy’s inventory was hustled at bargain basement prices, in order for Jackie to recoup part of her losses.

No worries, according to Melissa — because after having “a couple of awesome days” buying spring/summer fashions—she is preparing to make a comeback, her way. “Coming back stronger than ever & doing it on my own #bosslady,” Melissa writes.
Melissa has stated that she maintains ownership of Envy — but took no apparent legal action, when Jackie wiped the place out. Melissa claimed that a “a difference of opinion,” explained Jackie’s drastic move to repossess and resell the contents at a different location.
Do you believe that Melissa Gorga will strut a comeback — or is this another economic disaster, waiting to happen?
