Teen Mom 2’s Leah Messer recently announced on social media that she would be moving to a new home with her three daughters, twins, Ali and Aleeah, 6, and three year-old Adalynn.

Leah was under fire a couple of months ago, when All About the Tea was tipped off to alarming conditions within the home of the single mom. A neighbor captured photos of Messer’s garage, piled feet deep in junk, triggering rumors that the MTV mom was living in squalor.

Leah is bats**t crazy,” our source commented. “She lives nearby, and she’s way more of a hot mess than she shows. The other day, she was walking a puppy with her youngest, and her daughter [Adalynn] just squatted and peed in the yard!”

A network insider even dished anonymously that Leah’s home was littered with dog poop, old food, even bloody tampons. Viewers have seen bits and pieces of Leah’s sloppily kept house, but early season exposure appears to have triggered higher standards — at least on filming days. A neighbor also claimed that Leah lied about breaking up with boyfriend, T.R. Dues. Leah’s daughter told her father and Leah’s ex, Corey Simms, that Dues was still  living in the home post-breakup — which Leah denied. The neighbor stated last March.

“Her boyfriend that she’s been supposedly broke up with is still living with her, and he is such a loser,” the source alleged. “They were filming last weekend, and he left while they were there.”

Some now believe that Leah worked to secure her new home, to escape the eyes of the nosy neighbors. Leah has been dogged by rumors alleging ongoing drug use, lazy parenting and poor housekeeping. Corey and Leah’s custody struggles have been featured on the show, an issue that might have played into Leah’s decision to make an address change.

Leah, you can’t run from your self. MTV! PLEASE STOP PAYING PARENTS TO NEGLECT AND ABUSE CHILDREN. Seriously, someone call Protective Services on the Teen Mom producers.

    • KJL

She tried to get help. Corey prevented her from doing so even though he caused the entire situation to begin with.

      • mizzy rabble

well, that’s your opinion, and apparently hers.
this has NOTHING to do with anyone but Leah
        and her paycheck from MTV.

        • KJL

She’s only depressed because a grown man took advantage of her and ruined her life.

          • mizzy rabble

you seem like a close friend

            #savethechildren

          • KJL

Lol! After posting I realize I’m waaaay too emotionally involved.

          • Anthony Keence

You absolutely can not be serious She makes her own decisions.

          • KJL

            As cancer.

      • Fallon

While he could have, and should have been more supportive of her, her addiction is not his fault. Addiction is a disease, and it’s her responsibility to treat it.

        • KJL

I meant the circumstances surrounding her decisions are his fault. She did not have the mental capacity to deal with the adult situations she was thrusted into because of him. This resulted in her mental break down. Had she not been victimized, I believe her life would look completely different. He has to own that. And we both agree he should have been exceedingly more supportive even before he threatened to take her kids for seeking help. He’s treating her as if he entered into a legal contract with someone who had the mental capacity to agree to his terms, which he did not. Since she began therapy she’s becoming a responsible adult and dealing with situations better. But she’s also grown up too.

          • Fallon

I completely agree. People need to be a lot more compassionate towards her. She seems to be doing a lot better. I hope she continues down this path.

  • Why is this happening to us?

So instead of actually cleaning her house, she just moved to another one? This girl has major issues. Smh..

    • KJL

From the looks of it, it was way easier to move!

      • Why is this happening to us?

Definitely! Just look at that garage! 😯

  • Bravoparolees

    Sad.

It’s no longer good tv when children are being neglected. So often they go after the parents that just need a little help to parent successfully (harassing them, removing children from the home that don’t need to be irregardless of what children & neighbours are saying ) but the children that do need them to step in (if it’s bad what we see then how much worse that we don’t see) they ignore the signs. The footage is there to at least warrant a few surprise visits and a full on investigation just based on the stuff that had been shown. The producers of this show obviously do NOT have the best interest of the children at heart.

    • KJL

So true. Watching Leahs story unfold since 16 has been beyond heart breaking. I feel the entire situation is Corey’s fault, and he should have been much more supportive when Leah was seeking professional help. I hope Leah has a speedy recovery and lays off dating long term for the sake of her beautiful girls.

      • the underground train

How should he have been more supportive? He was taking care of the twins when he had them. Not to mention he had to take care of his pregnant wife too. If anyone should have been more supportive, it was Jeremy. He should have put more effort into the marriage. But he split despite her begging to stay with her and get couples therapy.

        • Contessa Bel Raven

Said almost the same before reading yours.

      • Contessa Bel Raven

At what point does she take personal responsibility for HER actions (or lack thereof)

        • KJL

From what I understand Corey was a grown man. Leah was a child. She was not ready to be a wife and mother at 16, but she tried her best. Then he’s so unforgiving and leaves her high and dry after he took advantage of the poor girl. Then he remarries, and now takes a children away. Then his new wife is nasty to the girls, shows favortism to the new baby and won’t carry the girls bookbag even though she’s handicap. In my opinion Corey is DREADFUL!!!!

          • Contessa Bel Raven

I’m sorry but i’ve never heard Miranda was mean to the girls. Corey tried his best and he didn’t leave her high and dry. She was/is getting MTV money and is able to support herself. She has been cheating with an ex-boyfriend and made a mess of her second marriage . MTV cameras have captured her trainwrecks of a life. Also what child their age is not jealous of a neworn? Should Miranda ignore the needs of her newborn just so the older girls don’t get jealous? Corey would work long hours, come home and take care of the girls while married to Leah (again all caught on MTV cameras). I don’t think we seem to be watching the same show. Any neglect these girls face is due to their Mother’s lack not from Corey and Miranda..

          • KJL

All kids are not jealous of their new siblings that’s where you’re wrong. Corey created this mess. Of course she’s made a mess of her life. He ruined it out the gate.

          • Contessa Bel Raven

We will just have to agree to disagree on that subject

          • KJL

That’s fine. I just feel like Corey should have been more forgiving of her and not left since he was the adult. So in,my opinion everything thay happened after is his fault. I certainly see how you disagree because in my opinion MTV edits it to make Corey seem like he’s a good guy. Unfortunately, that’s not an accurate depiction of a man who gets a tenth grader pregnant.

          • Contessa Bel Raven

Yes he was wrong to get her pregnant but he did try to do right by her. He stepped up to marry her and he has made sure that he is a hands on parent. Ppl make mistakes (sometimes horrendous ones) but should they be totally defined by it if they truly try to rectify that mistake or try to make amends? Leah has to take responsibility at some point for HER actions (or lack of actions). She remarried and quite frankly helped to make a mess of that marriage as well. There are many in worse circumstances than Leah who are amazing parents to their children and are doing it without MTV money, without the “father” of their child being in the picture and without doing drugs or cheating on their new partner. I’m not denying Corey should not have gotten her pregnant but I do not believe that Leah has no personal responsibility when it comes to her actions since then nor do I believe it is all Corey’s fault

          • KJL

Wow. Well said. Im still angry with him though. I really wanted their marriage to work.

          • Contessa Bel Raven

I am sure he did as well. Sometimes life doesn’t work out the way you planned though. Jeremy on the other hand does not seem to have tried very hard to save his marriage to Leah nor does he seem to be as hands on with Addie as Corey (& Miranda) are with the twins.

          • KJL

Man when Jeremy was courting Leah, i was screaming @ the tv for her not to fall for it. He was a major distraction and interface with the marriage. I think he made it easy for Corey to give up on his family and Leah to not apologize the way she really needed to do at the time. Whole situation is sad.

          • Fallon

I mostly agree with you. But don’t you think Leah overreacted to the backpack incident? She should have told her sister to carry her bag for her and moved on. It’s not as if Miranda did it out of malice.

          • Human

            Agreed!!!

  • the underground train

The house doesn’t look that bad on the clip above
