Dorinda Medley & Ramona Singer’s Feud Heats Up After The ‘RHONY’ Star Crashed John’s Party!

RHONY Dorinda Sonja

It seems Dorinda Medley has one sad storyline this season, and that is defending her indefensible boyfriend, John. The thing is, even when John is right, he’s wrong. On this season of the Real Housewives of New York, John has bumbled his way into the ladies’ drama more than once.

But first, let’s get the appetizers out of the way and talk about Sonja Morgan and her new Tipsy venture.

Sonja may have thought it was cute and clever and perhaps she was misled by some of her sidekicks about “Tipsy Girl,” but there has to have come a point when she realized it just wasn’t a smart idea. It was at least worthy of a conversation with her so-called mentor, if she was indeed her so-called mentor… Sonja should’ve known better…”

When Sonja started crying, Dorinda’s heart broke.

“She wants to get back on track, and you can’t blame her. Bethenny knows that, and I do feel that Bethenny was honest when she said she felt compassion for her.”

But ultimately, that didn’t save Sonja from being called out.

Bethenny expressed herself, harshly but directly, and Sonja responded. Sonja’s argument just didn’t hold up. Had it, I think Bethenny would’ve been softer on the landing.”

Now onto the entrée. Dorinda is angry with Ramona, but she gives John a pass yet again. Here’s my quibble—Ramona is a lot like John. She’s thoughtless and tacky. Her mouth is always loaded, ready to fire shots at anyone and everyone. This shouldn’t come as a surprise to Dorinda.

“Here’s the thing, Ramona has her ups and downs with everybody. If anyone’s developed a “brand” on this show, it’s her. You know what you’re going to get, because no matter what, she will either say the wrong thing or say the right thing at the wrong time.”

Dorinda knows her old friend very well. Shouldn’t she be used to this behavior by now?

“She’s isn’t malicious — though she CAN be spiteful — and she ultimately realizes that she screwed up. It usually comes with an apology that expires within three to four days. Look, ignorance is bliss, as they say, and Ramona is always having a great time.”

Dorinda tried to tell Ramona how she felt from a different angle.

“I met with Ramona for brunch at my FAVORITE breakfast spot in New York City, Sarabeth’s, and went about it in a very indirect way until she caught on and realized it was really a two-pronged conversation on the state of two of her friendships. There’s her situation with me and John and then her situation with Sonja.”

But when Ramona turns up, uninvited, to John’s party, Dorinda’s had enough.

Ramona’s agenda was to crash a party I didn’t ask her to attend. Once again, it’s poor manners. And, let’s be honest, if you’re crashing a party to begin with, should you even be anywhere NEAR noticeable? Or maybe if you want to…stir the pots, and stoke the fire, you put yourself right in the middle of it. And good old Ramona loves to be center stage.”

See? She does have Ramona pegged.

“This guy Rey was gross…Ramona shouldn’t have shown up, but she did, and she should’ve probably asked Rey to leave with her… John’s intent was correct but his reactions are just too much. No hands in faces, John. But at the same time, Ramona was so out of line, I couldn’t even understand how this would ever make sense to her…”

John acts like a buffoon. Yes, he has the right to kick Rey out of the party. But he sticks his sausage fingers in Ramona’s face, and that’s a step too far. Dorinda, even though she wags her finger at John, forgives him over and over for his oafish behavior. So, if Dorinda can forgive John, should she do the same for Ramona? Or should she kick them both to the curb. Is Dorinda a magnet for crazy? I’m beginning to suspect she might be.
