Teresa Giudice Visits Husband Joe Giudice In Prison For The First Time #RHONJ
Over the weekend, Teresa Giudice went back to prison…to visit her husband, Joe. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star was waiting on paperwork to be approved so she could visit Juicy Joe in his new digs on Friday. Fort Dix is approximately 1 ½ hour drive from Franklin Lakes.
“She was so happy to see him.” An insider told People, “It was a very emotional visit.”
Joe turned himself in to begin his 41-month fraud sentence last month. His scheduled release date, according to the prison website, is March 14, 2019. When released, his daughters will have aged as well; Gia will be 19, Gabriella will be 15, Milania will be 14, and the youngest, Audriana, will be 10.
The family attorney, James J. Leonard said.
“Teresa will be visiting with the girls as quickly as she is approved by the prison.”
Joe has admitted to struggling with his drinking while Teresa was away and is looking forward to treating being in the clink like being in rehab – except for the walking around outside whenever you want.
“I am not going to be able to drink for a while which is good because I don’t even know when it’s been since I haven’t had a drink,” Joe said previously.
In the meantime, Teresa has finished filming RHONJ, is resuming her full-time mommy-duties and focusing on becoming a certified yoga instructor.
