‘Shahs of Sunset’ Star Reza Farahan Weighs In On Mercedes “MJ” Javid’s New Man
Shahs of Sunset’s Mercedes “MJ” Javid is head over heels, but has kept mum on the juicy details surrounding her engagement to her boyfriend, Tommy.
MJ confirmed that she was engaged to Tommy last January, and now her bestie, Reza Farahan, is dishing on the couple’s meeting and courtship. MJ met her east coast fiance the modern way—on a dating app.
“Well guess what? My girl MJ swiped and she found somebody. And he’s from New York; and he’s wild and crazy and he’s super loud,” Reza told The Daily Dish. “And does he fit in with us? You’re going to have to wait to find out. He’s nothing like us. Some of us like him. Some of us don’t like him. He’s wild and crazy and then she’s got to deal with her mom, who hates everybody.”
MJ revealed earlier in the year, that Tommy proposed in late 2015, after a little over a year of dating. She shared her excitement with E News, commenting, “I’m ecstatic. I’m so happy.”
