We’re only a few episodes into The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and Cynthia Bailey has had a tough time of it already. First, there was the video of her husband, Peter, putting the moves on a younger woman. Then he left town and didn’t talk to her for more than a week.

But before we get into that heaviness, let’s discuss Cynthia’s ex, Leon. He seems like a great dad and he came into town to help Cynthia find a tutor for their daughter, Noelle. That said, I’m not a fan of his new mustache. Nevertheless, more Leon!

“Leon and I have known each other for almost 20 years… I was not surprised that he advised me to fight for my marriage. He knows better than anyone that I have walked away from most of my past relationships, however, a marriage is different… I appreciate his love and support.”

Just a word about the tutor—what a cutie Kemaray turned out to be. Cynthia thought so, too.

“At first I was a little concerned, because he is a very cute guy, and I didn’t want my teenage daughter to be distracted.”

Oh, she will be, Cynthia. I hate to be the one to break it to you, but Kemaray is swoon worthy.

“…he is very knowledgeable, patient, and professional. They have been working together for about five months now, and it is going very well. They get along great…”

If Noelle isn’t crushing on her teacher, the rest of America is. Now, moving onto Kenya Moore’s hair care launch party.

“Kenya wanted her haircare event to be the hottest ticket in town, and it was. Literally! The event may not have been as Gone with the Wind Fabulous as she had planned, however, she still shined like the star she is and made the most of it.”

Saving the biggest drama for last, Cynthia discusses her relationship with Peter.

Everyone has a breaking point, and at that time, I felt like I had reached mine. I wanted to keep an open mind and listen to Peter, however it was important to me to be heard and have my words be received.”

But as she’s already stated, Cynthia isn’t one to stay in a bad relationship.

“I don’t want to be a part of anything that is unhealthy and no longer serves my life purpose. I truly believe the only reason for being in a relationship/marriage is to be a better and happier person than you are alone. …there should be more good times than bad times.”

So where do they stand now?

“After our conversation, my heart told me not to give up, and to try to work it out.”

So do you think Cynthia and Peter can mend their marriage or is it over for good?
