The new season of Bravo’s ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ has yet to premiere, but drama is already swirling around the Bravo show.

We all know that Sheree Whitfield will be returning to Bravo’s Atlanta this season, in some capacity. Many believed that Sheree would be back on the show as a preach-holding, full-time cast member.  Gossip has been  circulating, painting Whitfield as a burned and unhappy peach.  Our insider reports that this rumor is completely false.

A wild tale is swirling, claiming that Whitfield is accusing RHOA producer Carlos King, of stealing her reality show concept, a show centered around African-American real estate agents in Atlanta.  People are gossiping over her supposed belief that she was tricked, and the full-time cast position she was promised in return, has been yanked out from under her.

The 45-year-old fitness guru, and fan favorite, is rumored to be upset at her part-time status. Whitfield supposedly believed that she would return full-time, and that Bravo would promote her comeback in the same vein as Bethenny Frankel’s return to the Real Housewives of New York.

All About the Tea’s close to the action insider reports that the gossip surrounding Whitfield, is simply not true. “Sheree didn’t get a contract for the show until after she started production on Season 8.”

As we previously reported, our production insider dished that Sheree Whitfield is not an official housewife, and currently remains classified as a “friend of a housewife.” Sheree has NOT signed a contract, and instead signed a payment agreement with True Entertainment. This could change as the season progresses, as we witnessed in season 7, when Claudia Jordan went from “friend of” status to full-time housewife.

Our source also reports that production is seeking to tweak their dramatic formula, due to concern that the the storylines will appear recycled.  The latest production strategy involves shooting for a less dramatic, and more family friendly season.  THAT would indeed be a Bravo first!  Stay tuned.
