EXCLUSIVE: #RHONJ Amber Marchese Breast Cancer Update
Amber Marchese continues to mend from a recurrence of breast cancer, and is weathering the process like a champ. A lump was discovered last spring, and was an upsetting setback for the Real Housewives of New Jersey star.
Amber has been open about her ongoing battle, and has inspired thousands of women, with her sensitive and courageous story. Her controversial husband, Jim Marchese, along with her children, have provided a firm foundation of support and encouragement throughout the process, a true picture of a bonded team weathering a storm.
All About the Tea has exclusively learned that Amber is at the treatment finish line, and underwent surgery today to have a breast tissue expander removed. Jim shared the news, via an exclusive statement to All About the Tea.
“Today Amber had surgery to remove a breast tissue expander related to her breast cancer.” Jim added, “She’s doing fantastic. This is her last surgery. She’ll be 100% and back in the gym in 3 weeks.”
A breast tissue expander is an inflatable breast implant designed to stretch the skin and muscle to make room for a future, more permanent implant.
