Breaking News: #RHONJ Begins Filming Season 7
Teresa Who? As former “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice remains behind bars, All About the Tea can report that Bravo has finally started filming season 7 of the reality series without her — and they’re STILL actively casting new blood.
Current “Real Housewives of New Jersey” cast member, Melissa Gorga confirms that filming has begun through an Instagram post today, “Gino is totally cramping my style today…. #setlife #rhonj #cutie#hedoesitbetter.”
The news comes after months of delays over Bravo’s plans to continue the show with jail-bird Giudice in prison, as she is not expected to be released until February 2016. Reportedly, Bravo was putting the show on hold with the star in the slammer but that is clearly not the case.
As reported, cast members contacted to come back so far are Melissa Gorga, Jacqueline Laurita, Kathy Wakile and Teresa Giudice. All will be appearing on the seventh season “in some capacity.”
Earlier this year, a RHONJ casting director posted on social media that she is “Casting Season 7 of Real Housewives of New Jersey,” with a link to her email. Describing the type of people she is looking for as “CASTING FABULOUS FAMILIES OF NEW JERSEY!”
Snooki and Traci Lynn Johnson have been rumored in the past to be joining the hit reality series. There have also been rumblings of Cake Boss Buddy Valastro’s wife, Lisa joining the cast.
Melissa Gorga recently lent credibility to those rumors when she posted photos of herself, along with Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi (Jersey Shore fame), and Traci Lynn Johnson (wife of former Giants player, Tiki Barber). Melissa posted the following photo on Instagram with the caption, “Having a liquid lunch with these two jersey girls…@snookinic @traciljohnson They are next door neighbors!”
Then again, last month Melissa posted the following pic at the Cake Boss’ house and another snapshot of her and Traci Lynn Johnson hanging out with their kids,
Snooki, Lisa Valastro and Traci Lynn Johnson all live in New Jersey and would be perfect additions to the Bravo hit-reality show.
Exactly who has been casted for the new season is still up in the air but stay tuned as All About the Tea keeps a close eye on the RHONJ tea.
