We have known for some time now that, Teresa Giudice, convicted star of “Real Housewives of New Jersey,” has been keeping a journal during her stay in FCI Danbury. Her attorney, James L Leonard Jr, released a statement about an upcoming book from the journal that will go on sale after Teresa’s release on Dec 23. Leonard had this to say, “She will tell the story everyone is dying to know: what life is like behind bars.”

Keep in mind, Leonard is the same attorney releasing bits and pieces of information about how wonderful and great Teresa is doing behind bars. Who wants to read that? Will this book show us a Teresa who has learned a valuable lesson or will it gloss over her accountability as she spreads her love, love, love?

UsWeekly is sharing excerpts of her journal which may show another side of Teresa, stating that the disgraced reality star “often cries” about her four daughters. The first entry is from the early days of incarceration in January. Teresa talks about watching the movie, Jersey Boys, which made her cry because at the end the main character’s daughter dies.

“I was crying and have been very emotional for the rest of the night. I called Joe and he told me he was brushing Milania’s hair and Gia was videotaping him! I loved to hear that and I wish I was just there with them.”

Interesting that Teresa’s never seen Jersey Boys, right? You’d think it be required by Chris Christie. There are also stories of Teresa breaking down because Audriana asked if she could move into the jail with her mom and Milania not understanding that her mother wouldn’t be home in time for her birthday on Feb 2.

“That broke my heart,” Teresa wrote. “I miss them so much. They are all I think about all day long and I pray that God helps me go back home to be with my daughters and my husband.”

Husband, Joe Giudice, is reportedly now filming a reality show while his beloved is behind bars. Teresa and Joe won’t have much time together after her release, though. Last year the judge in their fraud case staggered the sentences so someone would be at home with the kids. Not long after Teresa’s release, Joe’s 3 ½ year sentence will begin. The Giudice mansion in Montville is back on the market at a reduced price of $2.99 million.

During her time in Danbury, Teresa writes that she exercises all of the time and likes to work out to Jillian Michael’s “Ripped” tape. On January 26, her entry talks about the food.

“I had tater tots and a soy burger that was so gross and orange!” Teresa also mentions that the prison serves too many potatoes and commented, “They feed us so much here.”

On February 27, she had a normal day that went like this:

“Woke up at 6:15, went to breakfast at 6:30, had French toast and oatmeal. Checked emails, drank my coffee and watched the news. Did yoga at 8:30 till 9:10. At 12:00 to 1:00 they had Black History Show. They had Spanish dancers and rappers and talking about black history and handing out questions about black history.” Tre added, “Whoever answered those questions right gets a Hershey’s candy bar or a pack of tuna.”

Two things I’ve noticed: 1) Her life doesn’t sound that tough, and 2) Teresa will need an experienced editor.

As originally reported by All About the Tea, Teresa will be back on “Real Housewives Of New Jersey” next season and her exit from jail in December will be filmed.

Of course it will!
