Joe Giudice has made a name for himself, both in the Bravo world of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” and in the gritty real-life world of over the top excess. Radar Online is reporting that these two worlds have collided again recently, with the news that Bravo has supposedly axed a plan for a Giudice spinoff show.
The show would feature Joe as a single dad, awaiting his reality star wife’s release from the slammer. The reason? A familiar one for the convicted Giudice couple…greed.
“Bravo killed the show because Joe wanted too much money,” a source tells RadarOnline.com. “He won’t be getting a spinoff after all. A show with Joe taking the girls to school just wasn’t worth it.”
The other issue was the problematic, but necessary aspect of filming phone calls to the Big House.
“Teresa’s lawyer didn’t want to anger prison officials and jeopardize her December release,” source explained.
The long line of creditors is apparently going to have to wait to collect, because evidently, the Giudice Greed has struck again.
