Do You Believe Her? Heather Thomson Claims She Tried To Help Sonja Morgan

Heather Thomson

Heather Thomson, star of “Real Housewives of New York,” feels that she is a “glutton for punishment” when it comes to being on Team Sonja. Heather takes to her Bravo blog to explain her side of the story.

“I’ve always tried to be on TeamSonja. And to contradict her recent blog, I don’t ever, have never, and will never stand on a soap box unless I am advocating for a charity or helping others. I also don’t preach, and I don’t judge another. Strong opinions, however, mostly in areas I am well versed, I do often have. These are simple facts about me.”

I’m pretty sure we can all agree there’s nothing simple about any of the women on RHONY. Heather continues to clarify the “rabbit hole” she often finds herself in when dealing with Sonja.

“I have been down Sonja “Sexy J” Morgan’s rabbit hole before: spending valuable time, energy, and favors on her pursuits, unfortunately, to no end. I was not at the lunch Sonja referred to saying the girls haven’t been supporting her, nor was I picking on her at this event. I was simply not in the know that Sonja had sourced a group to back a fashion endeavor, hiring freelance consultants and a designer to pull a collection together.”

So where did it all go wrong at Dorinda’s cocktail party that left Sonja feeling attacked? You might be surprised to learn who Heather blames.

“I was interested to learn more about it (the brand) and lend whatever I potentially could. But, ‘The Countess’ boomed in and, as the case often goes, things flew off the rails. And it’s frustrating.”

Heather ends her blog with hopes of success for Sonja – sort of.

“I’ve genuinely wanted to see Sonja focus and succeed. As a group, we’ve all been waiting for so long to see something actually come to fruition from Sonja Morgan’s many, many pursuits. Personally, while I’m eager to see more in this new venture, I’m still rooting for her Nigerian Football team–that one remains an all-time favorite, but I’ve yet to be invited to a game or to this showroom. I would take the call, though.”

Who am I being asked to believe? I believe Heather has tried to hands on support Sonja’s endeavours. I also believe Sonja has fantasy business endeavours constantly going on. I think we all have friends who embellish and fabricate, but consider them harmless.

    So, yeah, I BELIEVE!

good…me too…they all want to see her get one thing into the market……Sonja has great ideas but they go poof because she can’t focus..ADD maybe

  • RealitytvJunkie

I don’t believe her. Heather is getting annoying. Why does she think she needs to be involved in everything? She likes stirring the pot and not letting things go.

  • Susan Thorne Zavagli

yes she is trying to help and be supportive…Sonja has some great ideas she needs a professional successful person to get it going correctly ….they all want to help her …she is stubborn and difficult and they still want to lend support……next week looks good when Bethenny sits down with Sonja and tells her ..she needs to slow down and get help…..is there a intervention coming??????

  • Chloe

While Sonja is a looney, I’m with her on this one. Heather is a know it all snob. I’m looking forward to Bethenny taking her down a notch. Should be a fun season.

Heather and Kristen need to get over it. Those 2 have had hard-ons for Sonja since they came on the show. Seems like they are jealous and worried about her all the time. Ugh.

      Worried, yes-jealous, of what?

  • Guardian

Ok – we get it ladies – you have all tried to help, you are there for her, you want her to succeed. It’s clear Sonja is going to do things her way and only seek and follow those who support “her way.” She will probably fail but that is on her. Time to leave it alone or you will just waste more time and frustration and get nowhere. Then we’ll have to listen to “told you so” and that’s so boring. Sink or swim Sonja – and wear a life vest cause I think you are going to need it.

  • WaWaWaWHAT!

This is the thing…Heather tried to help Sonja launch her toaster over, Sonja wanted to give Heather NO credit…and Heather was salty

Fast forward to today…Sonja didn’t ask Heather for nothing…but Heather butted her big nose into it anyway…

    It’s funny…the ladies I didn’t mind last season I can’t stand this season

Heather needs something to do to remain relevant on this show. Instead of attacking Bethenny, she went for the easy hit, Sonja. I hear ratings have dropped and are low. Someone better edit in Aviva’s leg again or someone smashing a wine glass. It’s all so predictable!

She doesn’t “preach” or “judge”? is she kidding? This entire blog is judging Sonja.

Heather, you are a holla’-ing hypocrite.

    • Thank you. She’s a walking, talking and blogging hypocrite.

  • Jessica

Good Lawd, that chick is fugly. Ewwww, double-bagger for sure.

  • Demanding proof of a “brand” is hardly offering help. Heather is not fooling anyone. She can’t take back her childish antics about Sonja’s businesses last season.

  • Susan Thorne Zavagli

Sonja has her own agenda so leave it at that

  • Rochelle Barozzi

She is just PO’d that Sonja didn’t fall all over Heather and do every little thing Heather tells her.
