Kyle Richards: Kim and I Will Never Agree!

Kyle Richards, star of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” posted her final Bravo blog  to share her thoughts about the third installment of the reunion show. It’s interesting to note, the Bravo blog went live on April 16 at 11:25am ET (8:25am PT) presumably within hours of sister Kim Richard’s arrest. Did Kyle know at the time she was typing what was happening to Kim? Probably not. If so, the blog would have been very different or non existent.

Kyle began her blog with this,

“I don’t want to write this blog. I didn’t even want to watch this reunion, to be honest. There. I said it. But here I go….Let’s just dive right into the text message from Lisa Rinna to Kim.”

Kyle said that she was shocked to learn about the texts, but doesn’t think Lisa Rinna “is a dangerous person. She just made a really bad choice.”

Could one of those bad choices be agreeing to be on RHOBH? I’m sure Bravo doesn’t pay what Depends did. In regards to Brandi’s accusations about the space cake and talk of being a hypocrite, Kyle had this to say.

“This was her big chance to say something about me, calling me a hypocrite for not partaking in the space cake. I have said it before, and I will say it again: I NEVER said I haven’t smoked pot. I HAVE. It’s just not my thing.” Kyle continued, “Brandi herself wasn’t partaking, because of her own reasons (which had to do with her divorce, as she explained), so wouldn’t that make her a hypocrite then? WHY did she care if I did or did not choose to? Because she wanted to jump at the chance to make me look bad, since her behavior and her drinking had been front and center.”

For matters regarding the dog bite, there seemed to be much ado about a picture taken from the hospital room. Kyle wonders where Kim’s “responsibility” is in all of this.

“In hindsight, I wish I hadn’t posted that picture, but I certainly didn’t mean to hurt Kim. She posted a picture when she was in the hospital this year. Yolanda and Camille have done so regularly. And where is her responsibility in all of this? However, I do feel bad about what it has led to. And I’ve told her that. I also felt terrible because I know she loves Kingsley, but I also love my child.”

Kyle also addressed the veiled threat that Kim made to reveal something about daughter, Alexia. This moment in the reunion show nearly took Kyle’s breath away.

“For Kim to throw out that she would say something about Alexia (like she did to Lisa R. regarding Harry) nearly took my breath away. But her dog is off limits? So there you have it. I don’t even know what to say or do anymore. Clearly, we will never agree on this matter. And now we have more issues to work through, like my hurt and anger over Kim threatening to say something about my child. I know she loves Alexia, and it was just her being angry and “in the moment,” but it’s going to take me some time to get past that.”

And now with Kim’s arrest they will have even more issues to work. In closing, Kyle wanted to clear up two points. A) She never asked that Kingsley be put down. And B) Nothing “unspeakable” or “unforgivable” occurred at Brooke’s wedding. Brandi wasn’t even there.

Question: Has being on Bravo accelerated Kim’s and Kyle’s collapse?

While I wish only the best for these people and their families, I personally do not want to
see Kim or Kyle return to the RHBH. If Kyle returns, Kim and Kim’s standing will still be a part of Kyle’s story line. I just don’t want to hear about it any longer. Bravo has allowed this
family’s fractured kinship to be shown on the tele for too many seasons.

I think their being on the show has definitely sped up the demise of their relationship. I think each saw behavior in the other that was previously unknown to them, but now when caught on camera and commented on by all of the viewers, these behaviors have been magnified to the sisters. I really feel sympathy for both of them and I’ve never been a fan of either one. Kim never held any interest to me at all because she always presented herself as being as great as Greta Garbo but yet was always speaking gobbledy gook instead of talking coherently. Kyle, I could almost like her at times, but she always did something or said something which I found abhorrent and so any positive feelings I had for her vanished. Yet this year, with Kim’s treatment of Kyle being so awful, I find myself feeling more sympathy for Kyle for having to put up with Kim. If they were to bring Kyle back without Kim, I’d be willing to give Kyle another chance. I am wondering who she is away from her toxic older sister. Yet I am done with Kim. I do not want to watch her continue to slowly kill herself on our TV screens nor do I want to have to watch her do her 98th time through rehab. She needs to ride off into the sunset and either get clean or drink/dope her way to an early grave. I do not want to watch her.

****The photo of Kyle shown above is heartbreaking and that whole
scene, imo, should have never been televised. When will the Richard sisters
get the help they need ……….in private?
Also, I don’t believe Kyle when she said that putting Alexia’s hospital photos
on social media was not done to hurt Kim. Yes, it was. Kyle posted the photos
and never stated why Alexia was in the hospital. She knew questions would be asked and Kim and her dog would soon become part of this story.

What’s Kyle like without Kim? My guess – she is probably like her
BFF Fay Resnick and I don’t care for her.

        • Goo Goo G’Joob

I get what you’re saying completely. Last year, Kyle was firmly written in the column for HWs I’d vote off the island. It’s just the awful treatment she’s received from Kim has made me feel a little pity for her so I have started wondering what she would be like without Kim and I won’t mind if she returns. But if she doesn’t, I will not be heartbroken either. As far as all the franchises go, there are no wives of whom I’m really a huge fan, other than Lisa Vanderpump due to her wit, wisdom and hilarious snark, and Eileen Davidson, but more so because of her Y&R character than her appearance on RHOBH. With all the other wives, they get a pass or fail with me. Porsha gets on my last nerve as do Ramona and Bethenny so those 3 are definite fails. Vicki G, Lea Black, and Yolanda all get passes from me. I don’t want to be friends with any of them, but I do find watching them on the show to be entertaining, even when they are not shown in their best light. Now BG is in a class all by herself and it’s because she’s too exasperating to try to watch. But again, concerning Kyle, I’ll watch another season with her if they bring her back. If they don’t renew her contract, I won’t be heartbroken either.

I agree with you in spirit! : )
IF Kim doesn’t return will Kyle? If Kyle returns then I don’t see
her relationship with Kim ever being a stable one. It seems like their problems go way back to their childhood s with major unresolved issues and resentments.
I’ll bet jealousy was/is one. Kyle was possibly jealous of Kim as child and now Kim is probably jealous of Kyle.

If Kyle is on RHBH, Kim will watch the show, read the blogs and whatever troubles they’ve had will, imo, only grow and worsen.
It might be a sacrifice for Kyle to give up Bravo but honestly she
can have a wonderful life without it. She has a loving husband, beautiful and healthy children, plenty of $$$$$ in the bank, numerous
friends and a Clothing Store business.
Kyle and Kim allowed their troubles to become public knowledge when they joined Bravo. If there was ever a chance for them to resolve their problems, in private, it is now.

Unfortunately it seems Kyle loves the fame and camera time way too much to let it go even for family.

        • Anne Mckinney-page

Kim has a son that just got out of a mental hospital… and daughter that has been in and out of rehab. There is just so much illness in her end of the family… and she has been drinking all along. There was a discussion about a scene she caused last year at the Polo Club, that Kyle was asked to respond to. This sickness in Kim is more than familial… I also think that she may have been abused as a child… as all the bells and whistles are going off every time I see her.

don’t agree at all..I doubt kim was even on her mind..just taking pix to make her daughter laugh..face it, posting to social media is just the way it goes now…

I think it may have been a warning. As in: keep that dog away from my kids or I’m no longer protecting you AT ALL.

I think it was the mother bear in Kyle rearing her head and I don’t blame her one bit.

        • pixntrix

Without Kim this season no one would have had a storyline and that my friends is sad. Instead of showing us their fab lives we were subjected to another season of the same old crap.

Exactly Pix. It’s BH FFS! I can get cat fights & screeching psychos on the NYC subway, every dang day. Don’t want to see it on my TV when I come home trying to relax & rid myself of all the days drama.

          • pixntrix

            Exactly my thoughts

I agree! I feel like Bravo rewards bad behavior. Every show should revamp and weed out the toxicity within. On BH, it should be Kim for obvious reasons. Yo for her health. And Brandi for her mean spirit. The women who are kept need to be able to have fun, not manufactured drama. (Not that sobriety is manufactured.)

      • ♥♥♥ Tigerlily ·.¸¸.·*¨·.·.¸¸.

I have to agree Dani. Sometimes there comes a point where certain relationships, whether it’s family, significant other or friends, become so toxic that there is nothing left but to step back & try to save yourself. To put it bluntly, you can’t help a drowning person if you yourself can’t swim. Kim has pulled everyone around her down too many times. Time for a little self-preservation. Time to catch your breath & save yourself from undue harm.

    • Jennymckitty

I think after listening to a few things that Kyle & Lisa V have said, that Kyle has been punished by her family in the past if she didn’t support Kim 100%. I think the show and fan support has given Kyle the backbone she has needed to not always pretend that everything Kim says and does is correct or tolerable. This may have pushed the demise of their relationship but it has made it far healthier…at least for Kyle. If Kim ever becomes completely sober, maybe she will see that Kyle wanted her healthy.

    • side of Sour Cream

I agree. But I do think in all fairness Kyle should be given the choice to return if she wants. I think it’s the only fair thing for her as she’s been punished enough in life for her sister’s insanity. Kim should be booted, no question about it.

    • pixntrix

      Agree 100%

  • ♥♥♥ Tigerlily ·.¸¸.·*¨·.·.¸¸.

I hope eventually Kim & Kyle will find a way to mend their relationship. Imho, that will never happen while they live out their lives on TV. All kidding aside I hope that Kim will accept the help she needs & can find a way to stay strong. I hope she will see that the life she has been given is so much more valuable & offers so much more than what’s at the bottom of any liquor bottle or pill bottle. I wish her well. I can’t bear to witness to this anymore. if she comes back next season or it’s only going to be more drama & fights & back-biting, then I think I’ll just opt out of all the HW’s shows for good.

  • Jennymckitty

What are the legal ramifications of Kim’s charges? Resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer sound kind of serious.

    • ♥♥♥ Tigerlily ·.¸¸.·*¨·.·.¸¸.

She semi-famous, rich & white. She will get a pass, I’m sure.

  • C.R.

Kyle is such a jealous hater, her sister is more famous, men love her, she’s been married more times than Kyle has, so she wins. Kyle just needs to get over the fact that she’s the ugly, fat, poor, no-talent, never-was of the two of them and let Kim be fabulous.

    • April Deyarmond

These are things to be jealous of lmao

  • April Deyarmond

Kyle jealous because men love kim because kim had been married more than Kyle and kim is more famous. Come on that funny even make sense. Kyle is married to man that whether prefect or not seems to love and adore her they have amazing children. One good man is better than several jerk offs right? Am I missing something here? Who would be jealous of someone who can’t keep a partner who’s been ran thru like the local taco bell and has totally embarrassed herself children and immediate family by agreeing to go on national TV buzzed up on alcohol on pain meds and then attack fellow cast members for their care and concern. Tell lies makes up stories that not only hurt cast mates but could potentially hurt their family many on her cast have children in there homes. If anything I see kim jealous of Kyle and jealous of the fact Kyle never really did make it big, but ended up with the dream life . kim Richards is nothing to be jealous of she’s someone to pray for and a prime example on how not to treat others an example of the life of those struggling with addiction how it affects there families, and why therapy & meetings are important to maintain sobriety
