Joe Giudice Speaks Out! Teresa Giudice Keeps Him Waiting for Prison Visit, Too Busy Doing Her Hair

Posted on Apr 1 2015 - 12:39pm by Dani-K

Joe Giudice

Joe Giudice, husband of “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star, Teresa Giudice, is finally selling out opening up about life without his beloved, Teresa, and how she’s coping in prison.

With back-to-back sentences, Teresa is currently serving 15-months and FCI Danbury and then Joe will turn himself for his 3 ½ year sentence upon her release. In an exclusive interview with Extra Joe talked about staying strong.

“When you have four kids you have to stay strong.” Joe said, “Her being away definitely makes me appreciate her way more, a lot more, and you know everything she did.”

Say what you want about Teresa, she was the heart of the family. It’s sad that it took her going away for Joe to appreciate that. Joe also spoke about how the girls communicate with their mother and how often they visit.

“They email her all the time… every day, so, they email more than me.” Joe added, “We try to make it up there every weekend and we bring her mom up every weekend.”

During the interview Joe divulged what Teresa’s daily life is like in prison.

“She’s got a little group she hangs out with and does her thing with every day, and who she goes to the gym with and who she hangs out with, and who does her hair and who does her nails… they have their little thing going every day.”

Joe Giudice

How did Joe feel about being kept waiting by Teresa during once visit for an hour while getting her hair done?

“I mean really… that was a little annoying.”

I’m sure Teresa finds spending 15 months in prison and time away from her daughters “a little annoying” too.

Joe explained that he doesn’t consider them to be criminals.  “We’re not bad people, we’re not you know, these criminals or whatever, I don’t know whatever the hell they make us out to be.”

Convicted felons of bank and bankruptcy fraud is what they make you out to be. But hey, it’s not like they murdered anyone, right? As for whether they will return to the “Real Housewives” franchise that made them famous, Joe had this to say. “The numbers would have to be very big in order to go back so um, we’ll see… as of right now there’s nothing.”

Wow….this entire ordeal really has affected him physically…..or was he getting botox shots and makeovers too?

    • twifan2

Is he using Joey’s Paint On Hair spray? :/

  • side of Sour Cream

Yes Joe you are bad people. You are “criminals or whatever”. You are thieves who knowingly stole from others so you could live a lifestyle you didn’t earn. And on top of that you flaunted it all on national TV. So not only are you criminals, you are stupid as well.

  • twifan2

‘Joe had this to say. “The numbers would have to be very big in order to go back so um, we’ll see… as of right now there’s nothing.” <—RIGHT! No one else wants you. & Bravo has you over a barrel. Either take what they offer now or have to wait out the contract running out.

    • WestCoastFeed

I’m still steaming over that remark of his. As though they were Bravo gold!

      • twifan2

They both don’t get it! Never will either!
I’m steaming over the ‘ “We’re not bad people, we’re not you know, these criminals or whatever, I don’t know whatever the hell they make us out to be.”
DuuH!!! YOU BOTH did these things to yourselves! Without regard of what it would do to your kids, parents! smh

  • WestCoastFeed

He really thinks we will believe that her life in prison is like living at a spa? Working out 3 times a day with her little gang of friends. Getting her hair and nails done. A life of ease! Ha! I don’t believe it. And why did sister Sheila put out the message to the tre fans that Tre wants to get more fan mail in prison? Because she is sad and lonely and misses the delusions that they fed her with via twitter and facebook when she was free.

    • twifan2

Leotard Boy leading the fan mail group? 🙂

      • WestCoastFeed

Probably. It’s @ Team Giudice that speaks to Sheila and puts out the Giudice family word to the adoring Tre-Huggers, Leotard boy being one of the main ones.

    • italiano bambino

So true wcf you nail it

    • MidwestMiddie

      “…her little gang of friends.”
      Where are her Bravo “friends?”
According to Joe, they have not been seen. Who can blame them?
Dina’s been there but only a few times. Big Whoop!
Rino has been the most supportive one. Interesting!

      • twifan2

Juicy! Juicy! What are we to do with you!
He wants us all to feel bad for his squeezie because no one has gone to see Tre in the big house?! Tre has to put their name on a list first & then they have to fill out forms & wait. HAS she put people’s name on her To See list? I think not!

        • MidwestMiddie

          Excellent Points!
Why do you think Tre has allowed Rino to come visit?
Do you think he has been helping them out financially?
During the show’s season, they never appeared to be
          close friends.

          • twifan2

IF he has really been there to see her, I think he’s giving her the scoop of what’s been going on. He could be helping them out with some $$$. He did seem to be sympathetic when the Juicys were in court sentencing day.

          • WestCoastFeed

I wasn’t aware that either Dina or Rino had been to visit her in prison. Where did you find that, please?

          • Marsbars09

I can’t believe either one of them visited her in the penn?

          • Jennymckitty

I would be surprised if that were true. I’d be surprised if anyone outside her immediate family was on her list.

          • WestCoastFeed

Plus, Dina has been traveling a lot since Tre went asunder. Malibu. Puerto Rico. Guatemala, Chicago, and I think now back in Malibu.

          • Marsbars09

Tre allowed Rino to visit her? Why?

      • Marsbars09

I know. What about visits from Nene and Andy Cohen?

  • A Reader

He speaks so eloquently (NOT). Two thumbs up Joey – 🙂

    • Marsbars09

I just posted how inarticulate Joe is.

  • Raine Woman

Suck it up, Buttercup! This guy makes my skin crawl. And he’s a MORON!

  • italiano bambino

Juicy trying really hard to convince who? We know is all smoke and mirrors.

  • JerseyGirl830

I think For the Ape to allow her picture to be taken and show the world how really FU__ING UGLY she really is and to allow BARNEY RUBBLE (Joe) to do an interview they must really be DESERATE & HARD-UP for money. Oh why don’t these SCUMS just disappear. They still think they did nothing wrong OMG.

  • WestCoastFeed

The Tre Huggers are all up in arms over CBS News–the Talk. They are claiming the show presented “vile rumors” as “fact.” I think they are referring to Juiicy’s statement about Teresa keeping them waiting an hour when the family came to visit her. Did anyone watch the show who can tell us what was said?

    • I’m looking for it now and it looks like the episode won’t be available until tomorrow.

      • WestCoastFeed

One of them sure is mad. And it does seem that the statement Juicy made about having to wait an hour is what set her off.

        • twifan2

Why is she mad? It’s his wife. His time to visit. o.0

          • WestCoastFeed

I guess she didn’t know that the statement came from Juicy and thought the show’s panelist made it up.

          • twifan2

            Oh Good Gravy Miss Mavy!
& this is a stan of hers, right? 😀

          • WestCoastFeed

            Yep. Marcella something

          • twifan2

BUT she wasn’t up in arms about Juicy saying they’re ‘good people’ & nothing feeling remorseful for they both did?! smh

  • Lucy94

OMG. Where do I begin? For the next 5 years all of their family portraits will be like this. It will just depend on who is wearing the “uniform”. How does Tree have so much access to email? I thought the Danbury handbook was very specific about that. This whole interview is such BS. I wouldn’t have been able to keep a straight face. Almost trying to make us envy Tree being in the Hotel Danbury Spa and Resort? Other inmates who have been released paint a very different picture…backed up sewage for one. I wonder how many copies of US will sell this week or how many they have to sell to recoup what they paid for this crap. And lastly, I wasn’t aware that prisons have Olan Mill rooms. Do you have to pay for this service?

    • WestCoastFeed

Evidently they have a photographer in the visiting area who is available to take family photos with inmates for a fee. Why anyone would want a keepsake from a prison visit is beyond me. But have the Giudices ever showed shame for anything they have done?

      • Marsbars09

ITA WCF. I’m surprised Tre would want to be photographed in her prison garb as vain as she is.

        • twifan2

          They need the $$$, Mars.

  • Just a jersey girl

I never in my life would have thought that there was going to be a picture. Hats off to you All About the Tea you were right again. I just can’t believe this. They must be desperate for cash.

    • Bad Barbie

These pictures are taken at visiting room all over prisons in the usa.

  • HalleG

Geez, if I could only see my kids for a few hours once a week, I would have put my hair up in a ponytail and spent the time with them. Obviously her looks are more important than her kids. Every time someone says she’s the BEST mom, I want to vomit.

  • Pickadilly Edwards

Oh the irony – the game they’re all playing is ‘Trouble’. I guess it’s better than ‘Risk’ or ‘Life’ in their situation. Poor girls.

  • T’s Martini Lounge

Juicy can put a sentence together? Please. They are all so vile. Convicted, admitted felons! You are bad people. F Off!

    • Marsbars09

Tell em’ how you really feel!

      • Bad Barbie

        LMAOOOOOOOOOO

  • Marsbars09

Joe and Robert DeNiro have a similar style of speaking. As great an actor DeNiro is, I noticed he has a hard time articulating words when he’s not acting.
Joe doesn’t seem to “get” the severity of the crimes he and his wife committed. He makes it sound like they made a “mistake” and are now being harshly punished for it.
I don’t know if I heard Joe right, but when he was apparently asked if he would do anything differently while he was committing his crimes he said something about he would know what not to do. Does he mean cheat, scam, or lie in a different way?
I doubt Joe or Tre learned any lessons from their sentencing and incarceration.

  • Marsbars09

So, Tre is going to make her 4 precious daughters that she loves more than anything in the world wait an hour until she gets her kinky hair done? Joe and the girls travel I don’t know how long and they’re made to wait for the felon to make her appearance? I wouldn’t even think Tre would such a thing.

  • Rochelle Barozzi

Sigh….I just don’t care enough about them any more. They are low life idiots who won’t ever get it. All I can do is SMDH

  • WestCoastFeed

ROL is claiming that US Magazine paid them $75K for the photo and story.

    • twifan2

MAYBE! MAYBE $50K with that video interview. I repeat-maybe.
Wendy said $25K on her boardcast today. o.0

      • Jennymckitty

Do you think they actually got paid? Or did some third party broker the deal and get paid? I have a feeling there isn’t a money trail going back to them

        • twifan2

IRS better be looking closely at their finances!

        • BuckJohnson

I hope the they aren’t that dumb to try to play games and hide money with the federal govt. looking. But then again this is Joe and Teresa.

        • Marsbars09

It’s possible the check was made payable to one of their family members.

          • twifan2

That’s just looking for trouble from the Feds! :/

          • Marsbars09

            Why?

          • twifan2

An increase in your finances. Whoever got the $$$ paid to, they’ll have to report it as Earn Income on their taxes. They’ll be the ones having to pay the taxes on it.

          • Marsbars09

Couldn’t the publication have given the money to the family member as a “gift”? You don’t have to pay taxes on gifts.

          • twifan2

Nope. Unless they’re a legit charity.
A ‘gift’ has to be under $10K yearly too.
Plus, I don’t think a ‘reputable’ organization, publication would want to catch the irk of the IRS.

          • Bad Barbie

For real! It is not that serious. LOL

          • Bad Barbie

What corp is willing to do that for people in the public eye like this? Def not Us Weekly.

          • Bad Barbie

and that is as far as the gov gives a ratsass!

          • wendy feldman

            that is money laundering right?

    • I don’t believe she got that much.

  • twifan2

MOTHER FU*KER Juicy is basically saying he’d do it again, BUT not get caught! >(

    • Jennymckitty

      And this surprises you?

      • twifan2

It surprises me that he’s so brazen about it. Especially, since he hasn’t even started his ‘away’ time. :/

        • Jennymckitty

He basically said the same thing to his lawyer on NJ when he was sued by his partner. Hey, at least he is an honest felon.

          • twifan2

            😀
True. Something his kids can be proud of. 😉

          • Jennymckitty

Twi, did you see the tweets from Wendy F. today inviting Tre Fans to call into her show and tell her how wrong she was to fire Tre as a client? She then tweeted something about this interview being a PR nightmare not to mention illegal.

          • WestCoastFeed

I was just now looking at her tweets. She threatened to reveal what Teresa really told the girls about why she was going away. I think Wendy suspects that Tre and Juicy entered into some kind of contract to sell that photo. Contracts are illegal for inmates.

          • twifan2

Would that hold true for Juicy tho? He’ not an inmate-yet.

          • WestCoastFeed

I don’t know. I guess he can just say he bought the photo as a memento and got an offer he couldn’t afford to turn down.

          • Jennymckitty

            Ooh.

          • twifan2

I thought she was going to write about that included her ‘time’ with Tre. Is she going to spill the tea before? o.0

          • WestCoastFeed

With that weekly radio show, I bet she spills a lot of tea.

          • twifan2

Can’t tell if that’s good or bad-for Wendy that is. :/

          • WestCoastFeed

Well, I’d like to know. I’ll let Wendy worry about herself.

          • twifan2

I mean, if she spills could there be a chance that she could be given a gag order by a gov’t agency?

          • WestCoastFeed

For revealing a family confidence? How would the government be concerned in that?

          • twifan2

            Some Tre’s financial bookkeeping. :/.

          • Bad Barbie

Here is the thing… Who in their right mind will sign a contract without a confidentiality disclosure?! ( I mean, we know the G’s can’t read… that’s who!) But if that were you or I, who hired Wendy… you think we will like it if she wrote a book or did podcast discussing it? NOT!

          • wendy feldman

thanks for listening- there is only tea to spill when it affects other clients- otherwise i do not care- people do make up and we have spoken often since then- but i do not like to be taken advantage of- of you?

          • They must have committed more fraud to get paid by US because according to court docs, neither one are allowed to have a bank account and Tre is not allowed to do business while incarcerated.

          • twifan2

How are they paying their bills then?
            Cashier checks?

          • Cash. They must go down to the utilities and pay at the window with cash. Tre and Joe pays for most things in cash.

          • Marsbars09

What a way to live. :/
I really don’t like carrying a lot of cash around. I remember when I was starting off in life having to cash my checks at the check cashing place. I didn’t like those places then and I don’t like them now.

          • You’re an honest, decent, hard-working person. Tre and Joe are street thugs. They really are ’bout that life.’

          • Bad Barbie

Me too!!! But my family owned it. LMAO!

          • Marsbars09

Hi Doc! Is it possible these media outlets are making the checks out to family members of Tre and Joe?

          • Hey Marsie. Yes that or her lawyer.

          • twifan2

So he’ll have to pay income taxes on it then?
            Idiot!

          • This is all too shyster. It’ll catch up to them.

          • twifan2

            Definitely! 🙂

          • WestCoastFeed

I thought the court said that they had to keep their business and bank accounts separate. Not that they couldn’t have bank accounts.

          • Wendy said Joe is not allowed to have a bank account. She said it’s in the court docs.

          • WestCoastFeed

I think Wendy misunderstood what the court say., Shoot, it’s way too much trouble to try to look it up. I definitely remember the judge saying that they had to keep things separate.

          • I recall that also.

          • wendy feldman

i sat right next to her and wrote almost everything said that day- it is standard in white collar crimes for money to be handled a certain way

          • Bad Barbie

            I read the same.

          • An ex-publicist threatening to reveal can’t be good for Wendy’s image. So not ethical.

          • wendy feldman

i am not a publicist and i will reveal it as part of the story- not unethical- if it was my clients would be bitching- none are but thank you

          • Bad Barbie

We actually don’t know what your clients think or say.

So you find it perfectly fine that you are ditching details about your work relationship with an ex-client of yours? What do you gain from it, besides publicity?

          • Bad Barbie

            I said this before…

Even though she is not a “publicist”… You honestly think you will hire this person as your “crisis manager” knowing damn well that if something went “left” (which anything can happen) she will “reveal” all of your business as part of her story? Who does that? Unethical people do. Oh and add “criminal” to that too.

@Dr_Suess:disqus will you hire someone like this?

          • Marsbars09

            Uh-oh.

          • JerseyGirl830

Hi West, That’s exactly right. A felon can’t make any money selling photos regarding their crime or prison time. They can show photos but can’t gain any money from their situation involving their crime. I mailed a copy of the magazine to Judge Salas today. I’m sure she already seen it. Oh and by the way doesn’t the SCUM loose his liscense tomorrow?

          • twifan2

            Good old Trelusional Wendy! 😀
I caught some of her broadcast, but missed about the first 20mins of it.
If it’s so ‘illegal’, why doesn’t she turn them in?

          • wendy feldman

you turn them in- it is under investigation- i am not a cop- are you? everybody else pays their restitution they will have to also

          • Marsbars09

            You’re so funny Twi.

    • Marsbars09

Yep! I was wondering if I heard him right.

      • Crime pays in his opinion.

        • Marsbars09

I just realized that’s how Joe and Tre think. They are truly criminally minded.

          • It’s in their blood. As long as their breathing, their committing crimes.

          • Marsbars09

LOL! That reminds me of the saying, “As long as Tre’s mouth is moving, she’s lying”.

          • Exactly!

        • TartLemon

IMO, it’s all he knows from generations ago. The non-citizen thing is part of it. For business reasons.

          • Bad Barbie

I think this was the way they grew up and the parents are no different…

The non-citizen part was actually pointless. There is no business perks for it, unless you have a foreign company. He has a greencard and you have basically the same civil responsibilities while running an American based company as a naturalized person. The IRS doesn’t care about the color of his passport as long as he is legal to run a business in American grounds and legally resides here. The only thing he can’t do is vote, serve in the military (bullshyte) and run for office.

          • itsjustme

I’m wondering if by not becoming a citizen, it makes it easier for them to send money to Italy. I ask that, because I am positive they have been funneling money over there to hide it. I personally think that is how they have been living all these monthes without any discernable income.

          • Bad Barbie

He was not residing in Italy to be able to claim it otherwise in the US. He was a resident of the US with US business. I don’t see how the citizenship matters at that point. They could have sent actual stacks of cash money to Italy though and have it under the parents, etc. If they had any foreign accounts, the feds would have seized that too. We are over the days of sending money to Swizz banks in the canary islands. lol

    • Bad Barbie

      For real! SMH

  • TartLemon

Even if it was $75K, how long would that sustain the lifestyle they continue to live even though they have no $$? Being $13.5 MILLION in debt is a baseline. Doesn’t make all current expenses stop. Utilities, insurance, State/local/federal taxes continue along with routine living expenses (vehicles, food, clothes), general upkeep continue at normal levels.

I’ve read the house is in the process of foreclosure. $75K after off the top fees like taxes, agency fees really doesn’t leave much. Whatever there is should be used to find affordable downsized housing for their children instead of waiting for the Sheriff’s “moving company” to do it. Unheeded numerous warnings mean one morning SURPRISE moving day to the curb.

    • Marsbars09

Thank you! There is no way the Giudices’ will be ever to re-pay their debt. They need every penny they earn to go towards supporting their family.
I think they will be struggling for the rest of their lives. They’ll be like Nene, scraping for any gig that will pay them a few or tens of thousands of dollars.

      • TartLemon

At least NeNe is hustling to do legitimate work.

        • Marsbars09

          Yeah that’s true.

        • twifan2

Maybe lot lizarding while she & Kim are out on the road? 😉

        • Valid point. Nene’s hustling days are behind her.

        • Bad Barbie

Hmm… don’t believe the hype. The Leakes have dozens of claims in court. Especially Greg.

    • twifan2

PLUS, aren’t they supposed be paing back something like $200K to the govt? There is supposed to be some sort of payment plan in place.

      • Marsbars09

        That is correct.

      • TartLemon

Isn’t the $200K the fines? Don’t they still owe any principle?

        • twifan2

I remember it being over $400+K. They paid around $200K, $250K of it so far.
WCF knows more about it. She enlightened me about it. 🙂

Yeah, I like WCF’s posts. Very informative.

I thought it was $400k each for restitution. Tre is paid up and Joe has till he goes in, no?

  • TartLemon

Doesn’t Joe look miserable having to pretend to be the dutiful Father instead out and about partying at casinos? Obvious PR move. STILL no admission of fault or apology to the VICTIMS.

Gia’s band, 3KT, was filming a pilot to be shopped. Any info on whether it’s been bought for broadcast?

    • Bad Barbie

I thought the band broke up? Maybe I am confusing it…

This family of convicted felons (mainly tg) CANT STAND MELISSA G BEING IN THE HEADLINES PLUS GETTING A RAISE. I can just see tg having a meltdown over it. I AM LOVING KARMA ATTACKING TG WOOOO HOOOO!!!!!!! She more than likely called her lawyer, & sent emails telling him, THIS CAN NOT GET OUT ANYMORE. DO ANYTHING, AND EVERYTHING TO KEEP ME OUT THERE, SO THEY WILL BOW DOWN TO ME, LOVE ME, KISS MY A$$!! I DONT CARE WHO YOU HAVE TO RUN DOWN TO DO IT, JUST DO IT (TG TO ANYONE, BUT MOSTLY TO HER LAWYER) I WILL SELL MY SOUL., MY KIDS SOUL (WETHER THEY WANT TO, OR NOT.

THESE PEOPLE ARE STUPID IDIOTS, TRYING AND ARE WILLING TO DO ~~”ANYTHING”~~TO MAKE SURE HER FILTHY, NASTY, UGLY MUG IS OUT THERE……..TG GO AWAY, I KNOW I WAS SO HAPPY AFTER YOU LEFT TO GO TO PRISON, SO HOPING WE WOULD GET A BREAK FROM SEEING YOUR BUTT UGLY MUG, OR HAVE TO SEE HEADLINES PROVING AGAIN YOU AND HUSBAND REALLY WILL DO ANYTHING FOR A BY LINE, & A BUCK. NO WAY HAVE YOU CHANGED, YOU ARE STILL A MONEY GRUBBING, SELF CENTERED, JEALOUS OF “EVERYBODY” MEAN, BUT MOST OF ALL, ~~YOU ARE, & WILL ALWAYS BE~~~~A CONVICTED WITH A RECORD. HAHAHAHA

  • charma

Wouldn’t that money go to their victims? Was this photo shoot before or ever the story about Joe and his mistress? They’re always trying to pretend they’re the perfect family.

you reap what you sew….and I see nothing but hard times ahead for this family, all because the sins of the mother and the father. the worst is that I believe Bravo will support these two fools to the very end until they squeeze every ratings dime out of them…just like they are doing for that criminal Phaedra and her criminal husband. 75k won’t go far when you have to keep a house of that size heated, cooled (the electric bill has to be monstrous), running water and 4 children fed.

    • Bad Barbie

I think these fools learned this lifestyle from the parents. They are first generation American’s (Well Tre is, not Joe) and the parents are not exactly career people. They may have been “labor’ workers but we all know what happened back in the days in that type of business. How do their parents life so comfortable and were able to lend them so much money for the bond, first properties, etc?

Things that make you go hmmm….

    • daisy100

      sew? haha good one jim!

  • Bad Barbie

I wonder if this is something that they learned at home… is this perhaps a culture thing? No offense here. I come from two different backgrounds and what is a “crime” to my mother’s heritage it is light work for my father’s.

I mean, what did the parents do to be so well off? They don’t seem to have any proper education? They must have learned how to be opportunists somewhere. I said the same with Joe Gorga. The way him and Tre behave, they must have learned this at home. I don’t get it…

Juicy, technically you are a “criminal”, get over it, the quicker the better. They will remind you in jail and when you come back out and lose many of your rights, anyway.
