Claudia Jordan on Dr. Oz

Claudia Jordan has made no bones about her hammer time corns on this season of “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” Claudia appeared on “The Dr. Oz Show” this week to open up about her foot issues. But she also couldn’t help but have a little fun at NeNe Leakes’ expense.

“My corns are extremely annoying,” she said, “but they are nowhere near as obnoxious as Nene Leakes. I can cover my corns up and they don’t talk back.”

All joking aside, Claudia revealed that her foot problems began in college when she ran track. “I was a sprinter,” she told Dr. Oz . “But I would wear track spikes that were like a size too small, because I felt like I gripped the track better. But when I took my shoes off my feet would be irritated and my toes would kind of be like this. Then, I became a model on ‘Deal or No Deal’ and I was like 19-hour days in heels and a lot of times they would be brand-new shoes. They maybe weren’t the best fitting shoes. So a lot of us have feet like dancers.”

Claudia revealed she purchased more expensive shoes, hoping that would remedy the problem but it only got worse. So now she has to be mindful of what shoes she wears when she walks down the red carpet. Or, she joked, her feet might “end up on this weird website.”

Dr. Oz poked fun at Claudia’s co-star, NeNe Leakes, when he gifted her with corn cover-ups with NeNe’s face on it. Hilarious!

Previously, Claudia opened up about her feet struggles in her Bravo blog,

“It was quite a “feat” to show my toes on national television, but some good did come out of it. First, several doctors have contacted me to fix my toes for me, practically begging to do it! Second, I have gotten so many messages in my inbox from other young ladies telling me they too suffer and are ashamed of the damage they too have done to their toes from years of wearing uncomfortable shoes. I have established quite the little support group since the big reveal, and NOW more than ever the pressure is on to have the surgery to get my toes back to normal.”

Human beings are so vain and pressed on petty nonsense like this. Were feet meant to be flawless and fancy or were they meant for us to function? I mean, God bless to those of us with perfect feet but to be ashamed and have a complex is absurd. These type of insecurities mostly develop from others shaming us.

Cute or not, feet are a weird thing to look at anyway.

feet are made for kicking ass

  • I really do feel for Claudia. In my younger years I use to buy shoes a size smaller, all because I wanted my feet to look smaller and cute. I don’t do that nonsense anymore and thank the Lord I am corn free. I do have bunions but those are heredity.
