Every table flipper is replaceable and the show must go on, with Confidenti@l reporting that talks are underway to replace “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star, Teresa Giudice with Traci Lynn Johnson, wife of former Giant running back, and ex-‘Today’ show correspondent, Tiki Barber. The future of the show has remained uncertain ever since Teresa landed in the clink a couple of months ago, with rumors flying around that the show may be shelved to wait out the felon’s time behind bars. An source close to production is debunking that theory, and spills that there is much scurrying behind the scenes to keep the Jersey drama rolling, minus the beloved table flipping felon.

“They don’t know where it stands with Teresa doing the show or not doing the show or when she’s getting out,” said an insider. “So they’re prepping for either way. Anyway, they need to shake up the cast — last season’s cast was terrible.”

Can I hear an AMEN?  Veteran cast members Caroline Manzo, Jacqueline Laurita, and Kathy Wakile were no longer full-timers, and fans reportedly did not warm to the newbies that Bravo  hauled in to fill void.  Reportedly, a casting director for the producer of the show, Sirens Media, was given a deadline at the end of February to find someone to hang full time withMelissa Gorga. The Maxim model has emerged as a front runner, after a meeting held last week between Siren execs and the powers that be at Bravo, and negotiations have kicked in, in hopes of making Johnson the official replacement for Giudice. It appears that Johnson would fit the drama inviting bill perfectly, with her big, over the top personality, as well as a natural tendency towards juicy scandal.

Johnson met her husband while interning at NBC during Barber’s stint with the show. He later left his 8 months pregnant wife, Ginny, for the pin-up model, marrying her 8 days after the divorce was finalized in 2012.  The report asserts that the couple has been interested in reality TV for some time, although there is no mention of her philandering  husband being part of the casting scenario. As of now, both Traci Johnson and Bravo are keeping mum on the behind the scenes wrangling.
