The hits just keep coming for former “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star, Teresa GiudiceAs we previously reported, Teresa and her husband, Joe Giudice were forced reduced the asking price of their Towaco, NJ mansion by $500,000 in January.

The new listing price of the gaudy dwelling is currently $2.99 million. While the price reduction may seem reasonable, or even a bargain for the 4-acre property, the residence was recently appraised for around $1.8 million… a far cry from the new asking price.

All About the Tea has learned that the couple has been forced to remove their house from the market entirely. According to a source, the bad weather and lack of interest are the driving reasons for removing the house, the source tells All About the Tea,

“The snow and bad weather forced Joe to take the house off the market.” Adding, “He can’t handle having to keep the house clean all the time and the driveway free of snow to accommodate the showings. But he does plan to put the house back on the market after the weather improves.”

Below is the Zillow record showing the house has been removed from the market as of March 1, 2015:

Joe Giudice Off The Market RHONJ

Teresa and Joe put their Towaco, New Jersey Mcmansion on the market in September 2014, and since have reduced the price three times, most recently in January, where they slashed their expectations by $500k.

Joe has been struggling to manage his role as Mr. Mom while his wife serves her 15-month prison sentence for fraud. As we reported last week, Joe has been boozing, smoking and neglecting his daughters while Teresa sits in the pokey. According to a source, Juicy Joe has been hitting the bar scene hard, and is simply not a committed presence in the lives of his four daughters. No surprise he’s not managing the household duties, he was not a stellar husband prior to his wife entering prison.

All About the Tea spoke to a real estate professional who confirmed the Giudice mansion was removed from the market. The agent also shared that taking the house off the market is a bad move from a sellers standpoint and the house will have a hard time selling because it’s overpriced for the area. The agent pointed out that the house sits at the end of the street and it’s a BIG mansion surrounded by small homes worth considerably much less which devalues the Giudice home.

Yes, and contrary to what Teresa thinks, you can have too much marble and onyx.

      • italiano bambino

WHY the need of a a huge house like that. We know she doesn’t clean that whole house let alone juicy.

        • cait

Why would she clean Juicy ? Yeeuuggh !

          • Gabby

            Eewwwwwwwww lol.

          • italiano bambino

lol i mean to say if teresa doens’t clean let alone juicy LOL

          • cait

If she’d let Juicy alone, they wouldn’t be in this mess ! heh heh !

      • cait

Why would you have loads of marble & onyx in a house with young children ? Accident waiting to happen !

        • italiano bambino

who needs accidents when you have MILANIA lol

        • Duladeeda

Or drunks falling face first and knocking out their teef!!

  • Gabby

Good investigation skills, Tea! As far as I know you’re the only one to pick this up. This is house is one of the worst looking mansions I’ve ever seen. It has Teresa written all over it. This won’t be an easy sell.

    • italiano bambino

but she has an exquisite taste according to the Trehuggers

      • twifan2

        They should know, Bam! ;D
        Blind leading the blind. 😀

  • She Stinks!

I’m amazed they are still in it! Perhaps the Feds are finally coming to take it, auction it, and keep the cash? I’m all for putting that thieving lowlife out on the street. Let Sheila take the kids.

    • twifan2

NOT without being compensated$$$ for them, she-they-won’t take them.

  • WestCoastFeed

Zillow also lists Jac’s home as off the market. Has it been sold? Or are the Lauritas also waiting for better weather to show their home?

    • treasureglen

The Laurita house has been “Off Market” for several months.

    • Marsbars09

I didn’t know the Lauritas’ house was off the market as well.
It’s either been sold or they caught up on their mortgage.

  • Fritz the. At

I knew it. This is how they play. Put it on the market overpriced and when it doesn’t sell, take it off. They did this when they filed for bankruptcy and now again. It’s all for show. They will have to be pried from this funeral home to get them out. Betcha teresa goes back there when she gets out.

    • Marsbars09

I posted a similar comment Fritz. The Fraudices’ don’t want to give up the mausoleum.

  • colleen

What does “Forced to take it off the market” mean? The Bad Weather forced them?

    • twifan2

Bad weather wouldn’t keep it off the market.
Could it mean the bank is getting ready to take ‘action’?!
A Realtor won’t try to sell a ‘foreclosed’ house.

      • Susan Thorne Zavagli

what do you mean….realtors sell foreclosures

  • twifan2

    Wonder what this actually means?
Juicy can’t be paying the bills on this monstrosity!

    • Marsbars09

Hi Twi! I take it to mean no one is dumb enough to pay 3 million dollars on a home that is only valued at almost half of the asking price.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Joe and Tre resided in that ghastly place for years to come.

      • twifan2

I don’t think they’ll be in that house for years. Maybe 2 tops.

        • Marsbars09

They’ve been in the house longer than they should have, so why not?

          • twifan2

Because Chats says 2 yrs tops! 🙂
Actually, I think when Juicy goes ‘away to camp’ Tre will be hit with some reality hard facts!
She’ll have to deal with all those ‘little things'(taxes, insurance, lawsuits, life) on her own.

        • Susan Thorne Zavagli

I say at least two years

  • treasureglen

Most sites report the house is “Off Market” but realtor.com says “Sold Price Not Available”. None of it makes sense.

    • twifan2

The Juicys don’t ever make sense. smh

  • Marsbars09

I guess the family will continue to live in the mansion for free.
I don’t think Joe and Tre are serious about selling the mansion because they know no one will pay for a place that’s more than it’s value.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the Fraudices’ continue to reside in McMansion for years to come.

    • twifan2

BUT how will they pay the utilities, insurance, taxes on that McMnsion? :/

      • Marsbars09

Great point. It’s been reported Joe does not have any incoming income.

      • Susan Thorne Zavagli

doubt they are paying the mortgage and taxes….they’ll buy time til the property is repossessed by then she’ll be out of jail and every media whore will pay for a piece of her…she’ll grab the kids and abandon the house

    • Susan Thorne Zavagli

it could take a year or two before the locks are changed and they are out……

  • BuckJohnson

The banks know that they are going to take a major loss on this monstrosity, and I think that Joe knows the banks can’t sell it so he’s not paying any mortgage on it and or any of the loans. You see they can’t make any money from this sale. Even if they got the price they want their would be liens on that house and money so they wouldn’t get it. And since they won’t get any money and they can’t get a mortgage anymore because of their crimes and also they have to get the permission of the court. They might as well stay in the house and play games until the sheriff and marshals pull them out.

    • WestCoastFeed

In the meantime, how on earth are they paying the heating bills during this awful winter?

      • ♥♥♥ Tigerlily ·.¸¸.·*¨·.·.¸¸.

The wood on their property is free. LOL

        • WestCoastFeed

I hope it has been cut long enough to have aged.

          • ♥♥♥ Tigerlily ·.¸¸.·*¨·.·.¸¸.

Doubt that Joe would be educated enough to know a little detail like that. Probably greener than his moldy butt!

          • twifan2

I get the feeling that that fireplace is gas.
            What you think, T?

          • ♥♥♥ Tigerlily ·.¸¸.·*¨·.·.¸¸.

Probably. Most people seem to prefer not to burn wood anymore. But gas is expensive

          • WestCoastFeed

I don’t know about NJ but wood burning is limited here in California for air quality reasons.

          • twifan2

I don’t think there is a limit in NJ. There isn’t in NY.

          • twifan2

I like burning wood in the fireplace here. 🙂
The house is heated by gas & it’s expensive this year! 😮

          • ♥♥♥ Tigerlily ·.¸¸.·*¨·.·.¸¸.

I love the smell of burning wood. It’s one of my faves. Reminds me of my childhood visits to New Hampshire. The wood burning stove & the big fireplaces in the house. My Uncle used to wrap a thin copper wire around the log & it would burn this beautiful blueish-green color. I thought it was magic. LOL!

          • HalleG

Why is his foot blue? Isn’t that a sign of heart issues?

          • twifan2

I saw that, but I thought it was just it was the lighting. Look at his arm-looks ashy too. :/

          • Yeah, it’s gas for sure. Must cost an arm and leg to heat that home.

        • twifan2

Surprised he didn’t put a generator inside to help keep warm! :/

      • TartLemon

I was wondering about that, too. Taking into account what I pay on my teeny all electric apartment, the Juicy light bill alone must be in the THOUSAND + category. Add the gas and water. I don’t think they were real concerned with pesky details like winterizing as long as it LOOKS good.

    • Marsbars09

      ITA.

    • Susan Thorne Zavagli

the process could take a long time….he probably gets notices every day and throws them in the trash along with his bills….he is getting money from some source ….Victoria Gotti has some bucks….he is getting money from where that is the question

  • TartLemon

Better hurry, Juicy, or your kids will be sitting on the curb. When the Sheriff’s ‘moving company’ come in, the stuff is not carefully sorted and packed. It’s scooped out to the curb for pick up by anyone driving by or the garbage trucks.

  • TartLemon

Taxes, utilities and insurance continue. Then, there’s the pesky little problem of cars, food, clothing general personal upkeep. Even shopping at ROSS will be a luxury.

Where’s Jim when we need him with all the dirty little details?

    • twifan2

The weasel is saving the ‘dirty little details’ as leverage for him to stay on the show.

      • WestCoastFeed

The weasel has been very quiet the past few days. I suspect it has finally registered with him that he was being obnoxious and annoying on twitter.

        • twifan2

Either that or he’s been ‘reported’ to Twit.. 😀

  • commonsense12

The original house was built in 1975. Listing showed it sold for 305 thou in 1995. The next and last sale was for 530 Thou in 2002 which had to be the Guidices. So they did live in a used house. What they did was to add on which started in 2008 and they went from about 11 thou in taxes to 38 thousand as of 2013/14.. It is far overpriced for the area as other scattered houses around it are very small per aerial view and it is in an isolated area with property backing a busy highway.

    • Great info, Common Sense! Thanks for posting.

    • Marsbars09

Hi Common! I haven’t heard from you in a very long time. Nice to hear from you again.

  • WestCoastFeed

Another blogger is claiming that Dina Manzo has moved to the Runyon Canyon area of the Hollywood Hills. Well. she has been visiting Malibu quite a bit this winter. And she took a trip to Puerto Rico, too. She has to have a lot more income than I thought she had.

    • Marsbars09

I have a feeling Dina has either a sugar daddy or she landed some type of multimedia deal.

      • twifan2

My $ is her getting a sugar daddy.

    • cait

Maybe she’s got the ex back on the payroll ! Blackmail ! Well Good Luck, Hollywood, You’ze gonna need it !

    • Susan Thorne Zavagli

doube she bought something but a lease in Malibu is talking big bucks

  • DSS

They are sleazy but and I just dont get how dumb Joe is but so smart to be such a crook!

    • cait

I’ve always wondered about his ex-partner, who sued him for forging his signature, on documents ! Hmmm… ! Did he not wonder why he hadn’t seen any paperwork in 10 yrs ? How Fishy ! Hmmm…! I wonder how much of the $13m he pocketed ?
When Joe was in the Pizza Shop, he always looked happy and contented, and I remember how sad he looked, the day he closed it down !
I think that was the day he took the Tree for a tour of the apartment, upstairs and made a few “joking” suggestions as to how it could be improved for them to live in ! Felonious looked horrified, so he laughed it off ! Hmmm…!

  • Just a jersey girl

This house is definitely a hard sell but taking it off the market and putting it on again makes the listing look new. Yes I know. Also most likely the taxes are included in the mortgage. Additionally we will know the second the mortgage is not being paid it will in Preforeclosre. I think we will see it put back on the market in a month will a half million dollar reduction. If it does go into foreclosure it will take two years to get the Giudices out also if teresa gets a paycheck when she gets out she could get a modification and stay in the house. Also there is something called statue of limitations on debts 7 years so few would bother with that. The only thing is IRS or state taxes, that again nobody likes buying property with liens they have to be cleared before closing and new title is issued.

The bank is happy right now if the mortgage is being paid,

Actually, whoever their realtor is is advising them wisely. Hard enough to sell this house let alone this time of year and particularly with the absolutely awful winter. It is snowing here as I type – again!!!!! Once the weather clears up a bit, the house will probably be relisted with a new asking price and it looks like a brand new listing. As most realtors know, this is a very common practice for houses that have been “sitting” to long on the MLS. Not that big a deal.

So much privacy though. And very safe for kids. Some people will pay a pretty penny for that.
