Mob Wives” star Alicia DiMichele, 41, was finally sentenced in her long drawn out embezzlement fraud case.

Last month, DiMichele, came to a resolution in the case with the feds. The “Mob Wife” agreed to pay $40,000 and plead guilty. She was facing up to six months prison time.

On Thursday, August 14, Federal Judge, Sandra Townes, sentenced DiMichele to 4 years PROBATION for stealing from a union welfare fund.

DiMichele tearfully apologized for her role in a scheme to divert money from a Staten Island trucking company co-owned by her husband, Edward (Tall Guy) Garofalo, Jr.

The reality star also agreed to pay $40,000 in restitution to the Teamsters Local 282 plus thousands more in expected proceeds from a pending lawsuit involving her husband’s company.

The “Mob Wives” star teared up as she told the judge:

“I knew that my husband and his partners were doing something wrong and I helped them. This is not who I am and I can’t even describe how embarrassed I am to be standing here today.”

DiMichele and her husband Edward “Tall Guy” Garofalo were charged with taking union pension funds from the now defunct Staten Island trucking company they owned.

As we previously reportedDiMichele quit her VH1’s “Mob Wives” gig, earlier this year to concentrate on her fraud case and after withdrawing her initial guilty plea. However, rumors have surfaced that producers are wooing her back on the show because the show is “boring” without her.
