Kordell Stewart In Trouble With The Tax Man!

Don’t mess with the tax man!

Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Porsha Williams‘ ex-hubby, Kordell Stewart may be going through financial difficulties.

According to Kordell Stewart might be going broke. Back in May, Kordell was was served with a $13,240.88 tax lien by the Georgia State of Revenue for failure to pay taxes for 2012. As a result, GSR promptly imposed a tax lien on Kordell’s assets and property for non-payment.

I wonder if this is the reason, Kordell sold his Georgia mansion featured on the RHOA. The beautiful grand home Porsha Stewart showed off on season five of RHOA. Kordell could be possibly liquidating his assets to pay his outstanding debts. The 9,175 sq. ft. mega mansion sold for 1.75 million. Hopefully that entire amount did not go to the bank.

We’ll keep you posted on this. Stay tunes.

  • Tre’s Pic’s aren’t Angelic

Why does Georgia go ahead and slap on a lien for failure to pay Taxes and New Jersey keeps lolly gagging along while they pick their noses and fart, walking down the street.

I must say, other than that, it couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy.

    • Tre and Joe have the luck of the Irish. Those 2 continue to skirt by and live in that mansion. I don’t get it.

He’s buddy papa smurf can help him out.

    • LMAO! IKR. Papa Smurf can write a check but I’m sure it will bounce. LOL!

All the husband of RHOA are a JOKE

When do the bankruptcies, lawsuits and criminal charges end?! It’s like a virus with the Housewives franchise. No one is immune!

    • LOL–Hey Marsie. Don’t ya know it’s part of the reality TV curse.

      • Marsbars09

Hi Doc! Yes indeed, it’s a vicious cycle.

    • Birdie11

I know it’s CRAZY…but all they have to do is conduct business honestly, and pay their bills and taxes…and poof! Immunity! Hey Marsie girl!

      • Marsbars09

Hi birdie! Great point, but you know everything I mentioned in my comment seems to be a requirement to appear on reality TV.

Oh wow! Thought he took care of his finances better than that but I guess not…well…STILL…at the end of the day I’d say he’s in a better position than his horseface ex-bird wife! He’s managed to stay quiet in the media and not make a constant fool of himself like that bird he married is.

Yes, now would be the perfect time for him to invest Peter’s new bar in NC. It makes perfect sense.

  • Maybe this is the reason Porsha didn’t request alimony. He’s broke!

    • pasteeler

Porsha did request alimony, she told her lawyer on the show that she deserved it for “her value as a wife”. She just knew she wasn’t gonna get it cuz the judge was buying her lies though.

I don’t believe Kordell is broke just because of he sold his mansion or that $14,000 tax lien. Kordell is pretty smart with his money.

      • Hi PaSteeler! 🙂

I was agreeing with you until the part about Kordell being smart with his money. I have to disagree there because smart people don’t allow their bills to fall delinquent to the point of a lien. Liens work negatively against your credit score and accrue additional penalties and fines. That’s not too smart.

If he was that smart, he wouldn’t have gone into business with that fraud, Peter !
Something shifty about most of the men on this prog !

  • cait

Gregg/Dwight and the unexplained $10,000, Peter and the unexplained $1m wedding when he was broke, then throw Kordell and Apollo into the mix and “Grassy Knoll” springs to mind !
