Honeypies!!! The Houston’s are back on the scene and this time not for Nick Gordon posting pictures of guns he allegedly threatened to use or because Pat Houston’s (Whitney’s sister-in law/assistant) son beat the holy moly out of NickAre you ready for this? The Lifetime network has announced the biopic Whitney Houston” is set to premiere in 2015. The film will be directed by Angela Bassett, executive produced by Larry Sanitsky and written by Shem Bitterman. Sanitsky and Bitterman are the masterminds behind the Lifetime movie, “Betty and Coretta.”

Reports are swirling on social media that former America’s Next Top Model runner-up, Yaya DaCosta will play the star role of Whitney.

Now here’s the tea…

While this announcement was made on E! (via Angela Bassett) Krissi Brown (Whitney’s daughter) took to Twitter to vent her frustrations with Angela Bassett:

“Ha MsAng “bassketcase” has such a damn nerve my lord, at least the world doesn’t mistake me for the wrong sex…she has some #XtraEquipment.”

Krissi didn’t stop there, she later tweeted:

“When I win my first Grammy or Oscar, *Shrugs* hmm whichever comes 1st, I’ll be sure 2shout URname out b-tch! Hah UrTestResults = Male. Lmao.”

SIDEBAR: Does Angela Bassett remind y’all of a man?

I can’t help but wonder what Whitney would have to say about such vulgar and obscene behavior from a young lady. I also wonder is this the Krissi we never got to see (while Whitney was alive)?

Bassett‘s reason(s) for not casting Bobbi Kristina (I agree with) are:

No, I did not think about that. I did not think about casting her. And probably for a number of reasons, you know. One being that she’s not an actress. I know she’s acted here and there. I know she’s been on their family’s reality show, but she’s not an actress and acting is a craft. It’s an attempt to illuminate the complexities of human behavior and life. And this is a very fast-paced schedule; we have just 21 days to tell this story. It’s more than just saying lines and turning the light on. You have to drive the story—there’s a technical aspect.”

Bloop! With behavior like that, would you cast Bobbi Kristina in a film? In the words of Whitney….Hell-to-the-Naw! #RIP-Whitney

I totally agree with Angela’s reasoning. Does anyone see a resemblance in behavior to another fallen from grace star?  Yes, you guessed it Lindsay Lohan. Not quite as bad but heading in the same direction. I will be back with more as things heat up.
