Teresa Giudice Release A Statement In Regards To The Death of Her Father-In-Law

The Giudice family has released the following statement in regards to the sudden and tragic death of Joe Giudice’s dad, Frank Giudice:

“The ONLY focus of both Joe and Teresa is their family right now, especially the girls. No decisions about the court case or the show are being addressed today.”

The father of “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Joe Giudice collapsed and died at his son’s home Wednesday afternoon.

The 63-year-old was reportedly building a chicken coop outside his son’s Montville Township mansion Wednesday when he’s suspected of suffering a massive heart attack. His sudden death comes less than a month before his reality star son and daughter-in-law are to be sentenced for fraud in federal court.

My condolences to the family.

That’s an odd sort of statement to make concerning a death in the family. I think it must have been written by one of the lawyers. Why even mention the show or the court case?

  • MorningYawn

WTH kind of statement is that? I’m telling ya, they need to ditch Wendy or fire half her staff. For a “crisis” pr person she is botching this one for sure!

    • WestCoastFeed

      Here’s what Wendy tweeted:

      wendy feldman ‏@Thewendyfeldman 17h

Sadly it is true that the father of my client and friend Joe Giudice passed away today @Teresa_Giudice asks for privacy and prayers

      • Dave

Typical publicist statement. I wonder if the father had life insurance.

        • That’s a good question. And if he did, how much and who are the beneficiaries.

          • Dave

That’s exactly what I’m wondering. Something seems odd about this whole thing.

        • twifan2

Hard to say what kind. He looked like he was way over weight, he smoked too.

          • Good point.

          • Dave

That chicken coop was another way for Joe to get out of paying high property taxes by claiming he’s a farmer raising chickens.

          • twifan2

In Texas, people can do that. BUT they can’t live on the property. Use it as range land-ranch.

          • Hmmmm…….

          • lloleary

I thought the same thing as I had some shady friends who did the same thing to their 5 acre property. Couple of (pet) chickens and goats resulted in huge (farm) tax reductions…

          • WestCoastFeed

Are those cigarettes in his pocket or is that a smart phone?

          • twifan2

            That’s a cig pack.
            Smart phones are slimmer.

          • twifan2

Another thing that could have been a factor is the heat. Yesterday it was about 91F in the afternoon. Hottest part of the day! :/

  • Dave

That’s a weird and inappropriate statement. Definitely not written by the family.

  • WestCoastFeed

    From Teresa:

    Teresa Giudice ‏@Teresa_Giudice 5m

Thank you all for your prayers…xx

  • Teresa doesn’t handle any of her social media stuff so any and all statements are being made by someone else.

  • twifan2

What ‘decisions’ about court dates. They’re already set!

Some PR person put that out.

    • Those are exactly my thoughts too. Why even mention a tv show or court date. What a bizarre statement.

      • twifan2

The PR people aren’t thinking at all!

        • I don’t think a logical thinking PR person would make such a stupid statement. It might have come directly from Teresa.

          • twifan2

That whole Juicy team isn’t logical!

          • Ain’t that the truth!

  • MorningYawn

Here is a possible, appropriate statement that Wendy Feldman and her team of morons could have written.

“It is with deep sadness that the Guidice family confirms the death of Joe’s father, Frank. He died yesterday afternoon doing what he loved, spending time with his son and his granddaughter on a beautiful summer day.

At this time, Joe and Teresa are providing support to his mother, Filomena, and their children, Gia, Gabriella, Milania and Audriana. He, along with his mother, brother and sisters, request privacy in order to deal with their unimaginable grief. They thank you in advance for this kind consideration. They also thank those who have sent their condolences, prayers and well-wishes.

The family will be making no further statements on this or any other matter for the forseeable future.”

The last line needs work and I need to go back to work, but I think you get my meaning.

    • twifan2

You should be their PR person, MorningYawn!
That’s a way better ‘statement’ than what was put out by them!

      • MorningYawn

Thanks! I don’t even know her and it took me less than 5 minutes to write. I am in PR (but in way less glamorous industries than entertainment) and I know that any PR person worth their salt could have come up with something similar, let alone one that knew the client. I am no Teresa fan but she is losing with this Wendy wench.

        • twifan2

I don’t really get what their PR people are trying to do! It’s like they don’t care about the Juicys. Are they that much of a lost cause? :/
STILL as their PR people, they should think about how the way they handle their clients’ business will reflect on them doing their job. :/

          • WestCoastFeed

Yes, the statement was so bizarre. Whose mind even works that way?

          • MorningYawn

YES!! At the very least, Wendy should be thinking about her reputation… unless Teresa wrote that statement and insisted they put it out there. It would be a very knee-jerk reaction (is very knee-jerk proper grammar, ha ha) and as a PR professional, Wendy et. al. should have done their absolute best to counsel AGAINST releasing such a statement. She should have drafted something different and shown Teresa… “I saw what you wrote, but would you consider this as an option?”

          • twifan2

WHO is actually writing their stuff is what I’d like to know!
I wouldn’t hire them based on what’s out there from them so far!

          • MorningYawn

Would love to see whose letterhead that statement is on! Maybe it was just an email… then you give credit to whomever sent it. Although at the end of the day, I can’t see anything going out ever without Teresa approving it herself.

          • Marsbars09

Hi Twi! I think Wendy is a self taught PR person, if you know what I mean.

    • Excellent! Well written and far more appropriate. Teresa needs to fire Wendy and hire you.

      • MorningYawn

Thanks! I feel really, really bad for all of them, especially the children and Joe’s mom. As for working for Teresa… never!! I would know up front that I’d never get paid! LOL!

        • I feel bad for the family too but now Joe and Teresa will use this tragedy to deflect from the sentencing and criminal cases. And that’s so wrong!

    • Sara

Right on…you did a much better job than the PR person and lawyers.

      • MorningYawn

        Thanks Sara!

    • SAMRA1116

      You hired—that’s a compassionate statement.

      • Hey Samra!

        • SAMRA1116

Hey Dr. —-bad news for Juicy—-

          • Hey Samra….yes it is…I’m sure he was looking to his father to rely on during his prison time.

      • MorningYawn

        Thanks lady!

    • cutie pie

great statement…but no..it’s about ‘the girls’..not the grandsons he left behind..it’s all about teresa…

      • twifan2

I don;’t think Frank had grandsons, cutie pie.

        • cutie pie

oh right..sorry..don’t have the ape tree straight.

          • twifan2

It does get confuddled, cutie pie.

          • cutie pie

            LOL

        • Oh yeah, that’s right.

      • Vince Foster, Jr.

It’s always about Teresa, get with the program. The Giudroupies are sending their tweets and thoughts to Teresa, not to Joe who lost his father.

      • chacha1

Joes brother and sister all had girls …. I think the dog even had female pups LOL

    • realityreally

Very well said. You are an excellent writer, I hope you are using these skills in your career.

      • MorningYawn

You are very kind. Thank you.

    • Vince Foster, Jr.

      Is Bella a murderer now?

    • Vince Foster, Jr.

They should have said ” “It is with deep sadness that the Guidice family confirms the death of Joe’s father, Frank. He died yesterday afternoon doing what he loved, spending time his son and his granddaughter on a beautiful oppressive 92 degree summer day that you could fry an egg on.”.

      • chacha1

….. building a chicken coop and chasing a dog

    • Marsbars09

MY, that is beautifully written. You have more etiquette than Wendy.

      • MorningYawn

        Thank you Mars!

  • Sara

Frank Giudice dies while building a coop in his son’s backyard a month before his son is locked up in his own pen.

Will the Giudices accept that the fallout from their criminal actions likely impacted the health of not only this man, but every friend and relative they know? And for what…a bedazzled world of tacky everything that will entirely disappear within a year.

Lesson to others who want it all without working, scrimping, saving and getting an education.

    • Marsbars09

Hi Sara! I’ve always thought Tre & Joe put so many of their loved ones through hell, heartache, and pain with their massive crime spree. With Frank’s untimely death it’s proven how their actions deeply impacted others.

      • chacha1

One thing that would really put my father down with a heart attack would be to hear his son-in-law call his daughter a C*NT … I wonder what Teresas father thought about that, my father would have shot his ass off for saying that

        • Hey Chacha. I’m sure Tre twisted the scenario and told her dad, Joe meant it in a loving way.

      • Well said!

    • chacha1

You nailed it, great comment !!!! but what really is confusing is why build a chicken coop in a house that will go into foreclosure due to lack of payment, doesn’t the banks own that house now … strange building a chicken coop ….. one report says he was chasing a dog when he went down

  • cutie pie

    yeah..hey guys..it’s all about ‘the (don’t jail me) girls’..fuck the grandsons..they don’t mattah..

    • Hey Cutie Pie!

You know they are gonna milk this tragedy for all it’s worth! Ugh!!!

      • cutie pie

        yeah..just reminded tho..he didn’t have grandsons…my B…lol

        • They still gonna use this situation to get an extension on their sentencing. I bet Miles Feinstein is firing off the request as we speak!

          • twifan2

Why? It’s 18 days away. They should be able to get all the arrangements made.
The Juicys should have thought of situations when they were pulling off their larceny!

          • They’ll use the excuse of grieving and the need to get the father’s estate in order blah blah blah….ANYTHING they can conjure up to delay the sentencing and the stupid judge just might fall for it.

          • WestCoastFeed

I wonder if Joe is executor of his father’s estate? Probably is. He is the oldest son.

          • twifan2

Then he ay be coming into some $$$. The judge may hold off to see how much he’s getting. Pay back people, IRS put liens on it,… etc

          • Good point and I really hope so! Ironic, the father died just in time of Tre’s $200k payment due on July 8th.

          • twifan2

            Exactly!
Wait! I thought it was $500K from each of them?

          • chacha1

I wonder though if the mother is totally pissed at Joe and blames him for the fathers stress and heart attack, so she may not hand over anything to them and just set up t5rust funds for the grandchildren

          • That would be likely from a sound rational grandma but this is Joe’s mother. The lady who assaulted a cameraman on her way into court with her criminal son. I bet she’s blames the feds for Frank’s heart attack and exonerates her son of any wrongdoing. They’re all a bunch of ignorant assholes.

          • chacha1

Wow ever thought of that, the feds will attach themselves to everything, I know they did it to Jesse Jackson Jr and his wife Sandy and they also have minor children … one is in the slammer now and Sandy will follow when he gets out

          • My eyes just rolled to the back of my head. That means Pete and Sheila should expect NADA!

          • WestCoastFeed

I was going to type that the estate should go entirely to the widow, Filomena, but remembering his bribing his kids for grandsons, I have second thoughts. He may not think that any woman, not even his wife, is capable of handling money.

          • Sounds likely, West and would not surprise me.

          • chacha1

you could be right on that

          • chacha1

Everything is left to the wife then she makes a will and names an executor upon her death … I am sure that is how it goes down.

          • Thanks Chacha…because money in Joe’s hands is good as gone!

          • chacha1

I am sure that everything goes to Mama anyway

          • MorningYawn

            Damn girl! You called it!!

          • Hey MY! Stevie Wonder could have seen this coming. Those two crooks are opportunist.

  • italiano bambino

Sorry for the lost. Seems all the drama with her son could brought stress to the heart. Very young.

    • twifan2

          • twifan2

            Pics anyways! :p

    • Hey Bam! I agree….those two losers brought the man to his death. I am positive STRESS from Tre and Joe was a MAJOR factor.

      • italiano bambino

Yes the man shouldn’t be having that stress

  • WestCoastFeed

The restaurant that is hosting Teresa’s June 25 appearance just tweeted #savethedate. So, I guess it is still on.

    • twifan2

      DANG! She is $$$ hungry!
      Shame! :/

      • italiano bambino

      • twifan2

Guess since it wasn’t HER father, life goe$ on? smdh!

  • Vince Foster, Jr.

She has to get rid of her PR person for that stupid statement. Does she make statements on her case on other days? Wendy is wacked.

    • twifan2

Guess that’s all they can afford, Vince. :/

      • Vince Foster, Jr.

I wonder if Teresa is showing up tonight at her bottle signing?

        • twifan2

          There’s one tonite? 😮
          She better not!

          • Vince Foster, Jr.

I was wrong, it is Saturday. Maybe she will swing by after the wake.

          • twifan2

            Still….

  • WestCoastFeed

ROL has just posted another story. This one is focussed on how concerned the family is for the Giudice girls. Sounds like a Wendy Feldman ploy for more sympathy.

    • twifan2

      Oh CRAP!!!! >(

    • MorningYawn

WOW. That actually makes me sad. The judicial system can be bought / influenced, etc.

      • WestCoastFeed

It does say it was for administrative reasons.

        • MorningYawn

Do u believe that? Timing too coincidental for me. Why announce today and not yesterday morning? Dunno…

          • Marsbars09

Agreed MY. It’s too coincidental that they’re postponing it right after Frank’s death.

    • Marsbars09

Oh no! Another delay means we have to hear about Tre.

      • WestCoastFeed

I wonder if this makes any difference to Bravo? I thought they were counting on the sentencing date to amp up the viewership for the premiere.

        • twifan2

I really hope it messes them(Bravo) up! 🙂

  • Vince Foster, Jr.

@DiningOutNJ @Teresa_Giudice @_Fabellini_ Robyn.why would U post this within hours of her father-in-law's death? Shouldn't she be mourning?— Vince Foster, Jr. (@JustTheFactsNJ) June 19, 2014

    • WestCoastFeed

This one must have been cancelled by now.

    • twifan2

Call & find out if it’s been cancelled, Vince.

    • MorningYawn

They just forgot to cancel the scheduled tweets (I hope!). Another reason Feldman should be fired.

    • Marsbars09

With Tre you never know the depth of selfishness and delusion. SMH.

  • WestCoastFeed

Whoever gave ROL its latest story says that family will be flying in from Italy and ROL also included the name of the funeral home that is handling the arrangements.

  • Vince Foster, Jr.

The effin statement was released to InTouch, I bet Teresa got paid for it!

  • twifan2

Frank Giudice’s funeral service is set for 8:45 am Monday, June 23, 2014

Reset Hearings as to GIUSEPPE GIUDICE & TERESA GIUDICE: Sentencing RESCHEDULED to 9/23/2014 at 10:30 AM in Newark – Courtroom 5A before Judge Esther Salas. (ps, ) (Entered: 06/19/2014)

    • Vince Foster, Jr.

      Damn, reset the clock!

      • WestCoastFeed

And of course. his DMV fraud hearing will also get delayed AGAIN.

  • MorningYawn

So thinking more about the timing of the announcement of sentencing date change. If these “admin” difficulties are true, they just didn’t pop up today. Am thinking they were trying to hold the announcement til 5 on Friday, slower press day on Saturday, no one at the courthouse to comment til Monday when it has blown over. In this case, they need to be able to comment to ensure that they get their “admin” message out and clarified, trying to ensure not seen as favoritism. Move the date up and there is a spokesperson to comment. That’s my guess anyway.

    • WestCoastFeed

Yes, that makes sense. The court has to be aware of the accusations over the extensive delays in Juicy’s DMV case, not to know what the public response will be to this delay.

  • WestCoastFeed

In ordinary circumstance I think Joe would have preferred to get the sentencing over and done with rather than deal with the continuing tension while he waits for the actual sentencing date. But now he has the chance to fulfill the oldest son’s responsibility of caring for his just widowed mother. There will be many decisions to be made over settling the estate. That will distract him from contemplating his own dismal future.

    • Vince Foster, Jr.

Look at it this way, Joe has two more months to get shit faced and get into more trouble.

      • WestCoastFeed

Okay, I like looking at it your way.

      • chacha1

        LOL ITA

      • Tre’s Twits aren’t Angelic

        I love your candidness.
And I’m betting that what you said is exactly what will happen.
If you or I are wrong…oh well.

    • chacha1

well at least he has a brother and sister to help comfort the mother, the way I understand it they are well off financially and grandpa even offered $500,000 to the son who has the first baby boy

  • WestCoastFeed

Teresa’s lawyer has said that the courts are giving Joe time to grieve for his father’s death. Source is US Magazine.

    • MorningYawn

Damn. Was right the first time.

      • WestCoastFeed

Well, I didn’t use the quote, so let me correct that. I was inferring that, Here’s the wording in the magazine:

“Sentencing has been officially rescheduled to September 23,” Klingeman tells Us. “The family is mourning Mr. Giudice,” he adds.

  • Tre Chopper

    lol lollie L-to-the-OL f’n lol
At their home right in front of the family? Sorry, but that’s karma at its best. period.

    boo f’n hoo
What did Teresa think was going to happen? What does she think is going to happen to her girls when they get older?

This is only the beginning of the end for that entire family, all thanks to the matriarch, Teresa, the greediest most self centered selfish bitch and worst mother on the planet.

  • disgusted

if it were a regular family , trial would go on,they did wrong, girls or no girls ,they should of thought of that when they were living beyond there means, they should pay, for there wrong, not look for sympathy from the courts.
